Last August 9, my younger daughter and I finally got the chance to have dinner together after a week of being apart. It’s back-to-school season, so she’s staying with her grandma and sister to avoid the daily hassle of traffic and commuting. Since it was the end of the week, I decided to invite my youngest sister to join us as well—she was free the next day, so it was the perfect opportunity for some quality family time.🥰

We chose Pep & Ronnie for our dinner spot this time around. If you haven’t heard of them yet, you’re missing out! 𝑷𝒆𝒑 & 𝑹𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆 is a cozy restaurant known for their gourmet brick oven pizza and a menu full of unique culinary delights.

One of the coolest things about 𝑷𝒆𝒑 & 𝑹𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒆 is their hidden bar at the back. It’s a little secret haven where they whip up delicious cocktails, thanks to their renowned mixologist, 𝑰𝒂𝒏 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒈. 🍹🍸🍾🍷

From Wednesday to Saturday, you can also enjoy live music performances back there. It’s like two experiences in one: a relaxed dining vibe in the front, and a lively, tucked-away bar in the back for those who want to kick back with some drinks and good tunes.🎶🎤🎸

It was my first time trying Pep & Ronnie and I was expecting a good experience since I've been seeing some good feedback as well.

The Garlic spinach pizza is superb. I loved the flavors of the pizza despite it being simple with the appearance. No wonder they are famous for their pizzas. I wish the portion of salad is more tho. The pork knuckles that I ordered took almost an hour of preparation. We were not informed that it will take that much time. Price were okay-ish. Serving size can be improved.

The Staffs tho were a different experience. They were very inattentive. You have to follow up everything that you need once or twice.

Overall, we were quite disappointed. I hope the management will do something about the service.

The restaurant had a relaxed, aesthetic vibe, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a wide range of dishes, catering to various tastes.

We decided to try the beef bulgogi, which was flavorful and generously portioned. The beef salpicao, on the other hand, also came in a large serving, though it was a bit on the salty side—still enjoyable overall.

However, a few items on the menu were unavailable, and we weren’t informed ahead of time, which limited our options and forced us to choose only from what was currently available.

Despite this, the quality of the food was excellent, and we’ve been regulars since we first visited the San Fernando branch. The delicious servings keep us coming...
