Samgyupsalamat SOMO — Restaurant in Bacoor

Our dining experience at this branch was deeply disappointing. Despite advertising an unlimited menu, several food options—including the honey soy garlic fried chicken balls—were unavailable. We received only one refill of the dish, even after waiting 20 to 30 minutes. Later in the evening, when we requested another serving of fried chicken, we were informed that it had been cut off—despite the restaurant’s closing time being 10 PM and our request being made at just 8 PM. This severely diminished our dining experience.

Additionally, numerous meat options were unavailable, and refills were consistently slow, requiring repeated follow-ups before our requests were accommodated. There were five of us at the table, each paying 649 pesos. At another branch, each diner was served an individual steamed egg, but here, only two bowls were provided for all of us to share, despite us paying the full amount with no promotional discounts.

While the restaurant imposes a two-hour dining limit, the service and food quality were significantly below expectations. Refills were sluggish, and several staff members appeared unenthusiastic about assisting customers. Given this unacceptable experience, we will not be returning to...

The staff member was quite rude. She informed us that outside food and drinks were not allowed, despite there being no visible signage stating this policy. In other establishments, even when such rules are posted, they often make reasonable exceptions—especially for items not available on their menu, like iced coffee, milk tea, or fast-food spaghetti.

We were dining with our toddler, who specifically wanted Jollibee spaghetti. Our plan was to bring some for her while my husband and I enjoyed Korean cuisine. However, the waitress insisted that Jollibee food was not permitted because they offered kids’ meals—such as chicken. Unfortunately, our child doesn’t eat Korean food; she simply wanted spaghetti.

To make matters worse, the dish I wanted to order was reportedly for take-out only, meaning I couldn't eat it on-site—even though I was hungry.

I told the waitress we would just leave and dine at Jollibee instead. The level of control this restaurant tries to exert is absurd—far beyond what one would expect, even from a Michelin-starred...

The side dishes and some of the meats were unavailable. However, I really liked their cheese sauce and beef, which complement the other side dishes or rice perfectly. The service was also good during our visit.
