Ihaw Juan Pinoy Inihaw — Restaurant in Baguio

Lots of flies. Ordered the unli bbq with unli sisig. They say their sisig is was gummy, oily and cold. They didn't even bother to warm it. The meats are not good. The chicken and pork cuts tasted old. The only food that was good enough was the beef or chicken franks. The barbecue didn't even have flavor. If you really wanna try eating here, i suggest that you request for a deep bowl, buy sprite (which is waaay over priced st 30 pesos for that small pet bottle), and some soy sauce and ketchup. Request for the sticks to be removed from the raw barbecue and marinate the meats there. They won't give you the free soup unless you asked. I got the free pares soup which smelled like it was about to go bad....not to mention the fact that it tasted watered down. But tbh eating there is a waste of time and money. Its a nice experience to grill your food inside a restaurant. However there are some negative points that should be improved. Ventilation - the "chimney" over the grills failed to suck out the smoke instead i noticed that all of of the tables smoke are blown around the restaurant by either the wind coming from the windows at the back of the resto or the electric fan. We went out smelling smokey and teary eyed.

Over marinated - some meats especially thos cut thinly were marinated too much making it too salty for my taste.

Under staffed - waitresses most of the time fail to assist us. In the end I had to go behind their counter to get plates, spoons and forks and napkins. Not really sure if they are really under staffed or maybe the wsitresses are just on leave.

Positive points Nice experience if you can get past the smokey interior and some salty meats.

Food: There is nothing exceptional with the food set.

Service: There was no electricity when we visited. But we were not informed immediately about that. So we can no longer back out since we’ve already picked some food.

Facility: I’ve gor nothing good to say.

Value for money: No. Food is nothing exceptional. Facility is a disaster. Service is not good as well.
