Tau Ceti Specialty Coffee — Restaurant in Baguio

I had an incredible experience at Tau Ceti while attending the Specialty Coffee 101 workshop. Shout out to Barista Michael Sultan for an amazing session!

Though the session was originally planned for a group, it ended up being a one-on-one workshop with Barista Mike. He still went ahead with the session and delivered an incredibly in-depth and engaging experience.

As a home brewer, I learned far more than I expected. Mike’s keen attention to detail, openness to questions, and deep passion for coffee made the experience both educational and inspiring. Listening to him talk about coffee not only drew me in further but also fueled my desire to learn more and improve my brewing skills.

They have the best coffee in Baguio too!

If you're a coffee lover, you’ve got to check out Tau Ceti. This place specializes in single-origin coffee, and let me tell you, the quality of their beans is top-notch. Every sip is packed with flavor, and you can really taste the difference.

The cafe itself is super cozy, perfect for chilling out or snapping some cool photos. The mix of rustic and modern decor gives it a really nice vibe that’s great for your Instagram feed.

The service at Tau Ceti is where they really shine. We showed up just as they were about to close, but instead of turning us away, they extended their hours so we could enjoy our coffee. It’s rare to find such friendly and accommodating...

Asked for a split-espresso shot. One with milk (cortado) and one straight espresso. Bloody good espresso. No acidity, no astringency, just espresso. If you’re looking for something to compare your shots from, this is the place. You’ll get a good sense of how espresso tastes like, but be prepared to feel disappointment with your own shots as you try to replicate theirs.

Latte art was superb. A swan on a cortado!

The barista was a nice fellow too! Could feel the enthusiasm with coffee.

The place is a cafe, not somebody else’s office, so you could really enjoy your coffee.
