2/19/2025 Caldereta pasta - 210 Mixed berries milk series - 180 Choco Strawberry milk series - 180 From 5 stars, I made it to 4 stars. The caldereta pasta is just meh. It didn't live up to my expectations. You cannot tell that it is Caldereta. My bf said that the pasta is salty for his taste and stop eating it. The milk series were just fine. The mixed berries tasted like Dutchmill yoghurt drink. My bf like the choco strawberry. They don't have change for my bill until I forgot to get it. I was able to get by night time already.

1/21/2025 Pasta w/ meatballs - 210 Choco chip cookie - 90 Milo mudshake - 160 Peanut butter latte - 165 The pasta is the winner for us. It was served warm and we did not have to wait a long while. The cookie tasted like bread from a local panaderia. The drinks were just meh. There is no ac, they just offer al fresco but it is not a problem because you can still the cool breeze...

The atmosphere was great! No doubt about it. I went here twice and got 2 iced drinks but they served it in a paper cup which I think is more eco-friendly. I got a pako salad which I really think was overpriced. It was packed wrongly somehow because the vinaigrette spilled outside the box since I had it to-go. There were too many stems in my pako salad for sure. It was hard to eat. The one I had somewhere else had only the shoots and the soft parts of the plant. I can't say much about their service but I ordered there late at night so the staff must have been quite tired already. What I love about them? They close late. I'll come back again and perhaps...

Isa ‘to sa mga café na nasa Baler bucket list namin kasi madaming nagpo-post, madaming dumadayo, at syempre, ayaw din naming ma-FOMO. Kaya gora agad kami.

Vibes? Beachy, cozy, at obvious na malapit talaga sa dagat. May surfboards sa gilid, pawis-pawis ka pero aesthetic pa rin ‘yung vibe. Pang-“I left my worries in Manila” energy. Ang problema lang… may second floor pa sila na supposedly mas chill, kaso parang hindi na naalagaan. Sayang kasi kung aayusin nila, maganda sana tambayan sa taas. Pero ‘yung hagdan nila? Diyos ko, makitid, steep, at perfect trap kung may hawak kang tray ng kape. Literal na “choose your fighter: kape o buhay.” So ayun, bumaba na lang kami for safety and sanity. Dito na rin kami nag-breakfast.

Umorder ako ng Spam rice meal. Alam mo ‘yung feeling na okay lang pero parang may kulang? Ganun. Matamis yung Spam, parang nasobrahan ng sauce. Hindi ko sure kung sinadya nilang gawing adobo-ish o may natapong brown sugar sa kawali. Hindi siya kadiri, pero hindi rin siya “balik-balikan ko to next time.” BUT! Yung kape nila — love ko. Matapang, buhay ka agad after isang lagok. Kung may specialty sila, feeling ko drinks talaga yung winning move. Kaya kung pumunta ka rito, stick to the coffee or other drinks, baka ‘yun ang sikreto.

Yung mga kasama ko? Hmm. Medyo tragic ‘yung ibang orders. Yung isa nag-burger, tapos ang cheese literally hiwa mula sa cheddar block — hindi man lang sliced cheese, besh, talagang hinati lang parang budget pang-spaghetti. Tapos ‘yung patty? Sabi nung friend ko, mas okay pa daw yung sikat na ₱69 burger sa Maynila na buy 1 take 1. (Di namin nilait, nagkuwento lang siya nang may luha.)

Service time? Medyo tagal, as in parang tumulong pa sila mag-fish sa dagat bago magluto. Pero okay lang, inintindi na lang namin kasi baka kulang din sa staff, o baka peak hours lang. Chill naman sila and courteous, ‘di...
