Happy Huts Pizza Baler — Restaurant in Baler

Went to Happy Huts Pizza because of the high reviews online, but I left disappointed. Honestly, 2 stars is already generous.

Ambience: If you’re looking for a relaxed, chill vibe, this is not the place. The music was blasting loudly the entire 1.5 hours we were there, making it hard to enjoy the experience.

Service: Very sluggish. It took them an entire hour to serve just three items: Leon’s Special pizza, mozzarella sticks, and cheesy garlic prawn pasta. We even had to follow up and ask them to serve at least one dish while waiting. Food: For the amount of waiting, I expected something memorable. Sadly, the food was just average:

Pizza – generic-tasting, nothing special. Could barely taste the cheese Mozzarella sticks – decent, but it’s pretty hard to mess that up. Cheesy garlic prawn pasta – too salty for my taste.

Value for money: The prices are on the cheaper side, but when you factor in the wasted time and underwhelming experience, it simply wasn’t worth it.

Tried this newly-opened restaurant within the SMART Beach house compound. They have seats at the 2nd floor which offers a good view of the beach.

Ordered Leon’s and the texas. You can have 2 flavors in 1 pizza. Wait time was alright, didnt really notice it since i was busy listening to the waves. Pasta was served first, we ordered the cheesy garlic prawn. It was super good! Quite surprised that I loved this “cream” sauce which i hate 98% of the time (cream-based). The garlic toast that came with it was also good. Too good that i had to order a second round of their toast.

The bibingka cheesecake is something i havent encountered before. It was good. But they should tone down on the syrup because like me i dont want it too sweet.

Best pizza in Aurora, probably the whole Philippines. Had the pepperoni and chicken tandoori the first time we dined in and It was great. Definitely coming back🍕🔥🔥🔥. Went back again October 31 for more chicken tandoori pizza, Hawaiian supreme and chicken tandoori pasta. We were stuffed and satisfied. Daytime deck view was every surfer’s dream.
