Since each Hap Chan is different I did not expect much knowing the location of the restaurant is not so busy at best. The food was delicious, definitely as with most Hap Chan franchises. The only thing I did not like was the service. Typically,. Different hap chan stores serve their food within 5-10 minutes. This, however, even when there are almost NO PEOPLE at all, just 3 families, the food took 20 minutes. Furthermore, the servers, when not serving people, are very hard to find, quite difficult when you need to ask for more water or the bill.

Their lumpiang Shanghai and dimsun are processed. I mean they taste like a canned food meat instead of freshly cooked one. The braised beef is bland in taste and color. Some of their foods has that 'kikiam' aftertaste which I hated. Don't get me started about their dry, underwhelming pancit which has overpowering anise taste.
All in all, comparable to popular low end Chinese fast food.
