F. Baylosis Crispy Pata & Chicken — Restaurant in Batangas City

I was truly disappointed with my experience at F.Baylosis Crispy Pata. From the minute we arrived, we felt ignored. We asked for a table, but the waiter simply passed by without acknowledging us. Frustrated, we went to the cashier counter to ask for a table, which took some time to be arranged.

Once seated, our orders took an unusually long time to arrive. What truly angered me was that after waiting and beginning to eat our food, our main order of crispy pata was missing. After 10 minutes, I called the attention of the waiter (fair complexion, Chinese looking with eyeglasses) who took our order earlier, to follow up and inquire about it. Shockingly, he claimed we never ordered crispy pata, despite it being the first item we requested. This dish was the main reason we chose this restaurant. By the time we resolved this issue, we were nearly finished with our other food, so we decided not to pursue it further.

The rest of the food we ordered was mediocre at best, with nothing standing out in terms of taste. I expected more from a restaurant frequented by politicians and supposedly one of the best in town. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor service and unremarkable food.

The staff were unwelcoming, inattentive, and unfriendly. They appeared disinterested and unhappy with their work, which translated into poor customer service. Additionally, the restaurant needs to address its pest control issues, as there were plenty of flies during our visit.

I want to share some feedback regarding my family's recent visit to your restaurant, which is usually our go-to place for celebrations because of your excellent food and ambiance.

A while ago, on my mother's birthday, she chose to celebrate by having lunch at your restaurant. As I couldn't be there, I kindly requested your team to surprise her by singing a birthday song. I followed up politely via message while they were still at the restaurant, hoping to make the moment special for her.

However, despite my father also making the same request, I was saddened to learn that no one took the time to fulfill this simple gesture. My father ended up singing for her himself, which was touching but not what we had hoped for. The explanation given was that the team was too busy.

This was a significant moment for my mother, and she chose your restaurant for her special day. It would have only taken 5–10 minutes to make her feel celebrated. Unfortunately, this lack of attention left us disappointed.

I will give it a three stars why? First of all their restroom is infected with a lot of mosquitos in every corner of their building, under the table and you will see how visible this vicious blood sucking pests. Hence their food is great and price too not really expensive. Indeed their crispy pata is definitely too crispy yet their lomi is too thick. It was probably enhanced by using too much cornstarch. And also their restaurant, it needs more modern appeal, like an update for their restaurant and also the lightings is not good. And perhaps they really need to get rid of the mosquitos, it is not safe for kids and who knows what if those mosquitos are positive with dengue. Oh I rather eat...
