Overall Feedback:

The Location I have visited both SM Uptown and Ayala Centrio branches. Being in a mall makes the restaurant very accessible.

The Space They have a branding that's very distinct and is showcased fron their store interior and even the menu which is standard across all branches. They have a well lit interior and tables and chairs are organized.

The Food/Drinks We ordered the platter that has different mix of food. Some good, some decent taste. Their offerings and combinations are also very distinct to Boy Zugba.

The Service The staffs are well trained, very corteous and greets customers upon entry assisting to be seated right away. This is for both mall locations. The Centrio staffs are more attentive given they have smaller space. Serving time is good.

Value for Money Their food is a bit pricey for the serving size.

Do I recommend this place? Yes. They are one of the immediate tourist  recommendations for accessible local restaurants in Cagayan...

3 years ago, I had a 'harrowing' experience at their main resto at Corrales Ave. where the attending waiter/staff got boodle orders (for all 16 of us) from me and 4 others.

As a result, our orders overfilled the tables & expenses super exceeded expectation.

They didn't advise there was enough already. There were left overs enough to feed 30 more. They were going for sales no matter what.

Worst food service ever!

I vowed never to eat at Boy Zugba again for a year. I feel like continuing my boycott since the 'trauma'...

Found a stray metal wire from a metal wool or grill brush on our bangus sisig and it was barely noticeable. Accidentally eating the metal wire is a major health hazard. We did escalate this problem to the manager but they only apologized for that, we were hoping they could at least compensate us a little on their mistake. Hoping the restaurant will be more cautious next time, so an issue like this won't happen again. For us however, we won't be eating their again...
