SERVICE:1/5 Food:3/5 Ambiance:3/5 Value for Money:2/5
Almost all staff are very rude, even blaming the customer for failing to comply. I had to call them 5 times for a simple instruction of preparing the other table since our guest will be arriving soon but they failed to do so and when our guest arrived the table wasn't ready.
I also asked them to clean our table and put in new food. But even when our guests arrived, the empty plates we even stacked and cleaned for them were still on our table and they didn't give us food. The server even had the audacity to tell me that I didn't tell her about fixing our table, when I have told her 2 times and 3 times to other servers who obviously didn't even do anything. Despite treating them with respect, saying po and opo, smiling and keeping a good tone with them. They on the other hand give you a rude and bad mood like they don't care about how the customers are.
In the beginning it was good, they served fast but after that they didn't care about the table anymore. This is quite disappointing especially having to pay 599 for the food and thus definitely ruined the mood while eating.
Sad, because the owner was there and she seemed to be a good lady as she assisted some tables.
Overall, if not for the bad service I would've given them a higher rating but after dining there I would definitely not recommend it to anyone especially my parents and...
Read moreKorean BBQ is all the rage in.the Philippines. From the price to the offering, it is not hard to see why. Frist the price. At Arirayo, it is P449/person for all three kinds of meat, pork, chicken and beef. The price includes unlimited sides. And you have a choice of kimchi, fried and battered eggplant. Plain lettuce leaves, another plate of salad (mainly lettuce) with a quirky dressing. And did I mention unlimited rice? My favorite would be kimchi, the braised tofu (it tasted lije it was braised with sweet teriyaki. Dipping sauce was a choice between a hot chili sauce and a sweetish diping sauce with sesame seed oil as the base. The pure novelty of grilling your own meat on your table clearly has not worn out among filipinos. My only con.... the meat was not served pre seasoned or premarinated. In fact we were given a bowl (again, I suspect it was sweet teriyaki sauce) and then told to season the meat with the contents of the bowl. Not a big fan. Overall the place is good, remained mostly uncluttered during our experience there. Would I...
Read moreI wish I learned about this restaurant sooner! The moment I spotted the Korean owners accommodating the guests, I knew we were in for a treat. True enough, we were seated right away and there were no delays in taking our orders. The appetizers, meats, rice, etc were served on time.
The food quality is good! It's no different from dining in pricier Korean restos in the metro (think Sariwon or Soban K-Town Grill).
Korean folks flock the place, so I think it says a lot on how authentic it is. I have never been to Korea, so. :(
Value for money, sweet owners (albeit patient too), clean dining area, and...
