I won't give it a star but it's the mechanics here so... 😡

came from work and i craved for a max's basic meal. i don't hate max's food actually my wife and I are frequents of max's 10th ave. i'm just against this branch's service. and so... the place was not so crowded and i get to lead myself...yes there was no one at the door to assist you to your seat unlike the other branches. i was waiting for someone to hand me a menu but for about 15 minutes, there was none. so i made eye contact with this hostess who made a gesture that she'll be coming my way. another 5 minutes and she's nowhere. the last straw was drawn when i saw her assist another customer who just came. i stood and left. worst, there's this guy who obviously is not their employee who demand parking fees.

so to be fair it's not the taste but their service which sucks.

so i recommend going to Max's other branches if you want good taste and...

We came in as a group of 50 coming from a burial - we booked two of the upstairs private function rooms - they assigned 1 waiter to do everything for both rooms. Service was horrendous before we complained. Food came out in batches so we technically could not even eat together. Their house water had a lot of little particles floating in it and the chicken was dry. Would not recommend - its saddening how Max’s used to be the place to go to get good food and excellent service and now its just a glorified restaurant because its been around for a long time the quality of the food and service has certainly dropped....

Food - Very good. The usual Max's quality and taste. My balikbayan friend always longs for their sinigang na hipon. For me, their fried chicken is my always present dish whenever I am in Max's.

Location - Along EDSA so very accessible. A good option if coming from NLEX and looking for a quick good meal.

Park - Usually ample parking. I like the fact that there is a standalone Max's in the area which won't require me to queue up in a mall parking just so I can have a quick meal.

Wait time - This place is not usually crowded, so orders usually...
