Very exciting to have an Izakaya Restaurant in the area.
Haven’t tried the ramen yet. A bit overpriced for the quality and service provided. The Gyudon was decent, however not a fan of the serving plates as the portion seemed smaller than what it was.
I wouldn’t recommend the katsu curry as of now. The curry is great and tasty, but the katsu was somehow chewy inside (maybe precooked?) and the panko undercooked outside. Good and thick pork cut, but I’d suggest cooking it on the spot to preserve the juiciness of the meat. I also didn’t like the plating.
As for the service and presentation, I’d also suggest providing table mats to the customers to keep it more hygienic. The lack of side dishes (at other known, same price range Izakaya’s they provide at least a small bowl of miso soup) and sauces on the table made it feel like below average service and care.
Great menu selection, nice decor and atmosphere, but needs some work on the non ramen-dishes and service. We will go back for...
Read moreWe tried the kuro and shiro. I'm not sure why the kuro broth was white. Typically in Japan, kuro ramen has black soup. And the taste is not so different with shiro. I don't know why the chashu was so thick. Thin slices is less overwhelming. The ramen is good and price is ok but serving is small. Maybe because it was 20% off? Full price I think serving should be more.
I remember this place was Ramen Wasabi. That ramen shop had average ramen. Ramen...

Felt bad cause first time we ate here it was ok but now its like this. Hope they did not serve us...
