VERY BAD SERVICE
To the management - I hope you can see this as a sign for your improvement and not just a customer bashing.
Food selection is great, however it's the staff and service what makes the place undesirable. We arrived there with the place about 70% occupied. We were greeted by a female staff member and while glancing through the difference of the 2 different unlimited options, the lady told us "mag decide na po kayo para malinis ko na yung table". I know the intention was good but it really sounds that we are being rushed and unprofessional.
Upon being seated, the same lady explained the rules in a manner thats as if we don't have money. At that point, I already feel that the place isn't really welcoming and my colleague and I are already talking about how bad the service is even without the food being served yet. Little did we know that it's about to GET WORSE.
First off, the plates we are given. It was OILY. You can literally see where the oily area is without touching it. An indication that it isn't cleaned well.
We ordered about 12 items in 1-2 servings each. We were initially served with 2 lettuce, 2 rice and 4 fishcakes. WE DID NOT ORDER those amounts and those fish cakes. We told the server that it's not our order and he just took 2 fishcakes out and left the rest on our table as he clarified to the other staff members about our order. While this was happening, another group sat at the table beside us.
About 8 minutes have passed, we still haven't got our orders. And then suddenly, a server was approaching with a tray of food only to be served at the table beside that arrived later than us. I asked the the server why were they served earlier and inquired about our orders. Apparently, they already placed our order slip as served 🙄 They pull it out again. This time we are served random items in our order that still isn't complete.
About the photo - I said the food selection is great but please do something about your "Kani" salad. Yes, that's their kani salad and not coleslaw. Most of it carrots though and we had to eat most of it to accidentally discover that there is really a couple of fibers...
Read moreI visited this Wagnuyiku Dasma last night (May 2) with my two children to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations.
As soon as we were seated, a staff member immediately began explaining several restaurant policies. While I understand the need for transparency, the tone and delivery came across more like a lecture than a courteous briefing. She discussed the 12% VAT, the 2-hour dining limit, and the charge for leftovers — all of which are understandable and standard in many buffet-style restaurants. However, I couldn’t help but wonder why all of this needed to be emphasized so heavily, especially since most of these are common knowledge.
When we already supposed to order, we chose the seafood-inclusive option, which was more expensive — but that was fine with us. Unfortunately, the staff said the specific seafood item my child wanted was unavailable. Still, we were willing to make adjustments.
What truly turned me off was when the staff informed us that once an item is brought out from the kitchen, whether we already cooked or not, it would already be charged. This raised my blood already! The delivery of these rules felt excessive, and frankly, made us feel unwelcome — as if we were being pre-judged or expected to waste food??
Feeling uncomfortable and frustrated, I told her that we will just leave and find somewhere to eat. We ended up dining at Romantic Baboy in General Trias instead. As always, the experience there was smooth and straightforward: get seated, place your order, enjoy your meal, and settled the P2k+ bill after eating — no lengthy lectures or unnecessary warnings. And kudos to their friendly staffs and never acted as if "tagapag mana ng kumpanya".
Overall, I found Wagnuyiku's approach to customer service overly strict and off-putting, especially for a first-time visitor. A little warmth and flexibility would go a long way in improving the...
Read moreTLDR: Service okay, food subpar, gave us explosive diarrhea.
Service is okay, staff are accommodating at inexplain nang maayos ang rules.
but it's the food that really took the 1-star cake. Frozen items arrived even the sashimis. Still edible. Ice crystals are there and yea okay for the price it's understandable, however the meats are the same thing. We chose the shifudo option for the wagyu but it really was just disappointing dahil sobrang frozen ng meats panget na lutuin makunat na yung wagyu tas yung cubes parang brick. Yung iba actually may freezer burns na nag iba na kulay. Ala carte menu mas worth it pero what's the point if the restaurant's supposedly specialty (grill) is not good?
The lettuce served were brown-ish. Marble potato literally the size or even smaller than marbles. 4 measly pieces of potatoes. The sashimi both salmon and tuna were okay but as mentioned were so frozen they actually had ice crystals as you ate. Squid rings were frozen but okay. The meat were chewy and honestly mas worth it yung normal menu instead of shifudo since low quality and frozen to the core naman yung meats.
There's such a thing as proper storage and understandably mura na yung pricing neto pero sacrificed quality dahil dun. Parang sa price eh sana nag all4u or fantastic baka na lang lol Cheese is very good though.
There were also flies - required na ata dapat ng actual pest management as the insect killers (yung may ilaw and may nakukuryenteng mga insekto) are not enough.
Initially we were okay with the experience and decided to chalk it up to experience - but then we got home and both me and my husband had explosive diarrhea. So...
