I specifically ordered the yangchao chao fan, which is a type of fried rice with fried pork siomai(dumplings) on top. 2 steamed mantao buns stuffed with bolabola (pork meatball) and one steamed mantao bun stuffed with pork asado. The order took around 10-15 minutes to arrive. I didn't check them when it arrived as I was in a hurry and I assumed everything was in order. When I got home, and opened the box of fried rice, I saw that it was not what I ordered. The guy at the counter did not inform me that yangchao was not available. He only informed me that the steamed dumpling is not available and that they only have fried dumplings hence I settled for the fried one. He did not inform me as well as to how long the prep for the food will take. But since I have already paid for them, I had no choice but to wait for them. My mom decided to eat the mantao with pork meatball inside, but upon closer inspection, the bun looked slightly different. Mantao buns are usually white in color, the one my mom had a sort of yellowish color and she told me that it tasted a bit odd. Like it wasn't freshly made. Chowking siopaos/mantaos are one of the better tasting buns around and yet this one falls short by their standard. From the looks of it, it seemed like they cooked it earlier in the day and just steamed it again to make it appear as if it was freshly made. I was cleary disappointed. The food is good for a fastfood type. Do not be mislead by the pictures of their food in the counter, it looks BIGGER in servings but it seems 80% smaller in the actual order. For those who have heart ailments amd avoiding salt..try siopao bola bola. Lomi is somewhat salty as well as their chicken. Mancha?.. drinks are superb. Crews are good in service But the waiting time is not so good..we waited for a liitle bit longer than usual ( 18 minutes is long waiting time ) .. so order the most ready one...you may ask the cashier. The delivery in this place is a nightmare. They usually get your orders wrong and arrive late and when you confront the rider he will just blame the manager. I get discount vouchers since they are always late.
