If you want to have just light snacks - and you want to veer away from the usual burgers, pizza and fries stuff - then go to this resto at the 3/F of Abreeza in the BPO Lobby side. It's not too crowded ( place is away from most stores and shoppers passing by...) plus you will feel the "homey, local/native ambiance." Interiors are tastefully decorated with everything local. Perfect for our balikbayan relatives whom we accompanied here for some catch-up cum snacks. We all had the suman and sikwate which I think are their staples/most ordered - perfect match. Although the day is hot being summer, we enjoyed drinking the hot chocolate - not too sweet and so good. It's like the old-fashioned chocolate prepared for us by our grandmothers. The "batirol" way! The suman was garnished with dark chocolate on top and it's good, too. Light and yummy! Have yet to try their other dishes - like the pancit luglug, pasta with tinapa and the rest. Plus their coffee. Unfortunately, while waiting for my juice to be served, at the last minute, I was told by the waiter that it was no longer available. I had to stop eating to wait for my new order of Iced Latte priced at P150 per cup. The coffee is also perfect and overall, it was a very good lunch.
The shop has a very nice location because it’s not too exposed to strolling mall goers, the lay-out is nicely done and the overall ambiance...
Read moreI’ve frequented this local cafe ages ago BC (before covid) and it remains to be a local favorite for its native delicacies and coffee. Even before, I like it’s chill atmosphere and it’s not crowded.
I dropped by here again to taste the local goodies and just enjoy the solitude while sipping sikwate (hot chocolate drink) on a gloomy day.
Service is still prompt. And though it’s quite sad with so little dine-in these days, I’m glad this local cafe remains serving our local kakanin.
PS: i forgot to take photos of suman and kutsinta kay...
