Mang Inasal — Restaurant in Dumaguete

I'm uncertain why this restaurant is as popular as it is. Part of the reason I am not very fond of it is the fact its almost always very busy with a line of customers in the queue to place orders. My mother in law is in her mid 70's and has lived in Dumaguete her entire life. When she was asked to choose a restaurant for her birthday meal, this is where she wanted to dine. Personally I would much rather eat this style of chicken prepared at Jo's but she seems to enjoy Mang Inasal more. The food in my opinion is OK, not great. The food is delicious, but it takes a long time to be served. Then one time we needed additional rice since it was unlimited, but for some reason, we weren't given any... like not everything...
