NACPAN GRILL RESTOBAR — Restaurant in El Nido

My boyfriend and I went here twice, and we really enjoyed their food. It’s very homie and delicious. The first time we went there, we got pork sisig and chili crab, which were super tasty. I highly recommend the chili flavour.

We also ordered fish sinigang which is just mediocre but still not bad. Another dish is eggplant salad, the eggplant itself tastes really good because it’s been grilled, however, not a fan of the sauce. I saw from the other review when they got a grilled eggplant, which also comes with onions and tomatoes, I think that would be the one that suits my liking. I would definitely try that before we leave the island, and of course more items from their menu.

The service we got from Janine and the other lady was superb, they really welcome you with a beautiful smile on their faces.

Compliment to Kuya chef for our tonight's dinner, me my hubby and my 10 year old daugther ordered 2× buttered garlic shirmps/ stir fried tofu and veggies / pork sisig / chicken inasal and garlic rice, all food are well prepared and cooked. One thing that stands out for us is the freshness of all the ingredients used. Compliment aslo to ate Janine - who was friendly, very attentive and willing to extend her service beyond expectation.

Maybe one thing to develop for the owner to consider is the dining area, we were afraid to get sandy food as of course dining on the beach could be very windy. I have been here two times, and the food is great! Their chili sauce for crab or shrimps is tasty. However, my favorite dish is the sweet and sour fish. The sauce was delicious, and it reminds me of how my dad used to cook fish. Feels like home. Another recommendation, the mango shake, yum! The spicy mango chicken, though, was just mediocre, not my style. Maybe a different type of sauce or grilled would be better.

The value is great too compared to the other restaurants on the other side by resorts.

Also, I have to mention the lovely hospitality and service of the waitresses. All this you eat close to the shores.

Just be sure to have on bug repellant for the sandflies at the beach.
