This place is pretty decent and probably my new preferred place for fresh seafoods. Their menu is not just limited to seafoods, they also have other items. Taste-wise, I feel that they serve fresher seafood than other popular places in Gensan, plus, the prices are reasonable. Our favorites are the grilled blue marlin which might be seasonal, and the grilled tuna panga and indangan. Just a heads up, this isn’t a fancy place but they have ktv, air-conditioned rooms. If you prefer open dining, they have an open space and family huts. Service could still be improved but not totally bad relative to the prices. Overall, it’s a non-pretentious, easy place to dine that serves good seafood. For payments, they only accept cash but honors PWD and Senior Citizens’ discount. Also, if you have a vehicle, parking might be limited especially during peak dining hours so you might want to consider that. Anyway, my family felt this place is great. We’ll come back for sure.

kind of far from the city center compared to the other grill places but can be reached by tricyle tried Rachel's and we were actually a bit surprised that the food was not very expensive. an order of kinilaw was only 90 pesos!! of course this came in a small serving size with more cucumber than tuna, but actually sulit for 90 pesos. they also have inihaw which they price per kilo. usually other places that offer this are a bit sneaky and have their smallest cuts at around 2kg. at rachel's, they had small cuts at 250g which was just the perfect size if you want to order other dishes as well. durian shake was also good at 100 pesos. fish tinola (our first time to try) was very refreshing place was clean despite being busy. utensils clean. servers very attentive. šŸ‘

The food was okay except for the calamares, which felt like chewing on a stubborn piece of rubber. They did not cook it properly. It was also very rude that they served us tap water, which tasted like chlorine. If you're not going to give your customers quality service water, then don't serve any at all and sell them mineral water bottles only, instead of risking their safety. Lastly, the comfort rooms were a nightmare. It was very dirty and there were still remains from the previous toilet users. Kindly improve your service.

Absolutely blown away by this place! The tuna and blue marlin were incredibly fresh you can really taste the difference. The tuna was buttery and flavorful, and the marlin was cooked to perfection with a great texture. The ambiance is that of a classic native Filipino grill, casual and authentic. While the service could use improvement (a little training in hospitality would go a long way), the quality of the seafood more than makes up for it. Easily some of the best seafood I’ve had in a while. More amazingly they serve it at a very cheap price. Will definitely be...
