Jovinaj Suites- General Santos City — Hotel in General Santos

I will NEVER recommend this place! Place is cheap so what can you expect but cheap services as well! I paid good for 4 days in this Inn but wanted to cancel after my first night! I booked their 1 bedroon with double bed and a single bed, that means can accommodate 3 people. They only provide 2 blankets as they expect that whoever uses the double bed is always a couple, which is unreasonable! I asked for another blanket but they will charge you 50 pesos! I don’t mind paying it but that policy is stupid! I complained at the front desk and told that unpleasing staff that I will cancel the other 3 days I booked but can’t do something about my complaints as she needs to speak to her manager! The staff is bitchy and doesn’t care or know about customer satisfaction at all! Do they even send their staff to customer service seminars? This place will be...

Very nice place. Just 100% Remodeled. Everything is brand new. Arvin does a outstanding job running this very clean place. Staff are all friendly. Kitchen has extremely good food morning through evening, all meals served. Many people come here just to eat Arvin’s tasty cooking for lunch or a family dinner. I even invite my friends to have lunch here. They also have security even though he area is safe. I will defiantly return to this family owned establishment the next time that I’m in town. It's a newly renovated place nearby the malls. Very nice comfortable beds and adequate room area/space. Secure with the security guard on duty every night and the gate closed.

The only downside to our room is there is a horrible smell coming from the pipes. We've asked them several times to at least provide an air freshner but to no avail. When my husband asked for a spare keycard they also said no. But not a big deal!

Overall, it was a pleasant stay! We would definitely comeback hopefully when the bathroom...
