Hukad — Restaurant in General Santos

Me , my sister and my mom always dine here. My officemates and me love going here too. We especially loved their crispy pata and the lemonade drinks in pitcher. The lemonade drinks (I forgot the name) has different kinds that you can orfer in a pitcher. The drink comes with fruit slices in a pitcher and actually tastes really good and very healthy. We have also tried the baked scallops, shrimp sinigang, crispy chicken and the puso salad and some other food on the menu that I cannot remember anymore. Hukad in Veranza has also such a good ambience. The store reflects the culture and lifestyle of Gensan. The store has blown up photos of the tuna fishermen on their wall. I think the photos were winners of previous photo contests held in the city. As you dined, you will be able to see what Gensan is really like through those photos. The food was superb, so was the customer service. But the establishment should really improve on serving time. It was just annoying to wait a long time for your food to arrive especially if you were already hungry. Although it is also understandable that they have to cook the food and stuff, still, maybe they can do something about the...

Went to look for "sabaw" and Hukad didn't disappoint with their Sinigang. Their Sweet and Sour Pork is also really good too. Sadly, for the second time Chicken Pandan is not available for order so we'll be back here again next time for the 3rd time.

The place is great! Wide and long tables with good atmosphere paired with good service and they also offer unli rice for those who love rice. We also love their Cucumber Juice that not only tastes good but is healthy as well, in a pitcher so your whole family can enjoy.

Are you guys downsizing and drastically cutting costs? You were so understaffed yesterday for lunch, the fried chicken you served clearly wasnt prepared properly because of the presence of frozen blood in the bones.

Worst of all is the Laing that you served, why did you use real gabi cubes, its supposed to be made primarily of gabi leaves!?

To top it all off, i have diarrhea up to this morning, everything mostly from lunch is out into the John!
