An Old World Charm hotel nestled in amongst the hustle and bustle of General Santos City. On first sighting the hotel and reception, I was pleasantly surprised by the large open space, with plenty of comfortable seating areas. A welcome smile from the security guard who opened the door and helped with my luggage. Reception Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were shown to our room, ground floor, and overlooking a courtyard garden. The room was pleasing, with no smells. It was clean up to a point, and the bed, large, very comfortable with two swan shaped towels, sat adorning the bed. We had breakfast, and it was okay. The staff, again, is friendly. Overall, this is an old hotel with old charm, the cleaners do a good job, however, they can't clean rotten wood or rust. The rooms could do with regular maintenance and investment. Our stay was peaceful and quiet, I was expecting noisy as we were staying so close to the City Central. The shower was confusing, but once I grasped, which tap did what, it was OK. Hot and fresh.
