If there is a star lower than one, then I would give it to them. We went here today for lunch and were given subpar food and service due to the following reasons: Staff are not courteous and were rude. They gave us side eyes for asking for a follow-up after making us wait for almost an hour. I can not express how rude they were to us. They give an off-putting attitude, which made us feel we are a bother to them. Note: The restaurant was not that full. Chicken sisig was served in a COLD sizzling plate, and when we raised it to them, they said it was normal. I can even touch it with my bare hands, and it was mildly warm at best. Hence, the egg was not cooked, and the chicken sisig was not palatable. Air-conditioning was not working, and even so, they did not provide adequate ventilation like a fan. The temperature was acceptable though in the warmer side. We've seen another set of customer expressing grievance due to their poor service. I think this had caused the staff to work in a pressured manner. I still think that one mistake should not have affected their service to other customers like us. Food serving is so inadequate and small The serving staff made us order first several times only to tell us that half of their menu is not available. If she told us from the very beginning then it would have been easier for all parties.
We've given plenty of 4-5 stars rating for several restaurants, and I believe that no restaurant is perfect, but this establishment is too problematic, and the customer service left us baffled. We opted to take our food to go so we can reheat it at home instead since they already took a very long time serving us in a very subpar manner. I feel like this restaurant has this reputation for the longest time. There is no change and remorse, so we don't see any reason that what had transpired was an isolated incident.

Read moreWORST. KUYA J. EXPERIENCE. EVER. — Gen Trias Robinsons Branch I’ve written a lot of reviews, but this one deserves a warning sign. If you’re planning to eat here — don’t.
We went to celebrate my nephew’s graduation — a milestone, a happy family moment. But what we got was a complete disaster.
• Almost all desserts were unavailable. How can you call yourself a restaurant when half the menu’s missing? • Our pitcher was already empty, so my sister asked for service water. The staff said, “We’ll check.” • Then my 7-year-old nephew overheard and asked, “Why do they have to check? It’s just water.” — and that hit hard. Even a child could tell how absurd the service was. • My niece had to spit out the dynamite because it was way too spicy, and guess what? Still NO water. • We had to ask for it FIVE times — and were completely ignored.
The food? Cold, bland, and poorly plated. The service? Disorganized and careless. The vibe? Ruined.
My grandma — who never complains — literally said, “Never na tayo babalik dito.” That was the final straw.
What should have been a special night turned into an embarrassing, frustrating mess. Shame on this branch. Kuya J, you need a serious reset here.
NEVER. AGAIN. If you care about your time, money, and memories — stay far away from Kuya J Gen...
Read moreFirst off, was not impressed by the service. It was hot when we went there, so we asked to turn on the a/c or at least lower the temperature a bit. We were just told that it's how their a/cs were setup. Saaad! We did not order drinks, but we were not given or asked if we wanted water before and after serving the meal. Should have been proactive. We had to even ask for it. We waited about 20mins, or more for our food, and when it's served, it's not hot. Even the soup of sinigang isn't warm. Thought it was made to order? There were just like 2 tables occupied when we went there. Food tastes average. A bit pricey for everything we've got. Pancit Canton was...
