Ams Chicken Haus, Inc. — Restaurant in Iligan

I was craving for fried chicken one night, the ala-sunburst/am's taste specifically. Sunburst was packed, some sort of function so i went to Am's. Went in, orders taken. The place is about 50% packrd and my food came impressively fast at about 15 minutes but with some dismay. Honestly, i used to love this place but three times in a row now, i have been served fried chicken that's been cooked in oil that looked liked overused because my chicken looked dark, not golden and overcooked. And at one time i was served something that was obviously been cooked and just reheated food. I am not a picky customer, but i know when something is not right. This is just a constructive criticism which i hope the management will do something about. Am's has some really good food in their menu and their choco mouse and blueberry cheese cake is my daughter's favorite and mine too! I would give it five stars had it not for that three occasions which i was served mediocre chicken. Also, that "Sunburst" fried chicken smell is slowly disappearing. Please bring it back! I would also give 3 stars for the place, seating is too cramped, noise is loud, no ambient dining at all. But don't get me wrong, their food is good and i would like to mention that their staff is awesome quick and attentive! Five stars...

Move over, Jollibee! I think Ams Chicken Haus has the best chicken in the Philippines, if not the whole world. Chicken is cooked perfectly - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Very affordable too. Went here twice and ordered the KTL on one occassion and the 5 drumstick plate on another. Pancit is also tasty. Love their coleslaw - better than KFC's. My son, who loves fried chicken and is a fried chicken connosieur, loved it! He loved it so much he ate 3 drumsticks! Hahaha! Another must-try is their Mango Charlotte cake - the best cake ever! The place was strongly recommended by a friend. And we were not disappointed. They serve crispy and delicious fried chicken, just the way a fried chicken should be. Also, the options for drinks and desserts are also good! The only downside, based on our experience, was that we went during peak hours so the place was a bit roomful and noisy so if you're looking for a quiet dining place, this is not for you. Still, I would rate this with 5 stars because, based on our experience: 1.) food was great, 2.) prices were reasonable, 3.) staff were accommodating and overall, 4.) place was clean, 5.) parking space was available.
