Delecta — Restaurant in Iligan

I had dinner with my team here last night and the service was horrible. I am not expecting a lot but a good service and a warm meal would be appreciated. I ordered baby back ribs and it was cold. I don't know why the ribs was cold when it should be warm from the grill. We also ordered macaroni salad and I made 3 follow ups before it was served. I ask a male waiter about it and just said "okay". He continued to clean 2 tables before going the kitchen and made a follow up on our order. I guess cleaning the table comes first before the customer. I ask the same waiter if they have to go boxes for the left over and he reply with a hard tone "wala" (none). He then proceeded to give us clear sando plastic bags. For real? Prawn in sweet and sour sauce in a clear sando bag? So this is like a side walk food shop now? Delecta??? What happened? I'll be honest, I raised my voice because I was upset and very disappointed. The waiter could have been polite and I would been okay with the clear sando bag or offer us to pay for plastic containers which I don't mind. After I raised my voice, A lady waiter came over and apologize for the service and gave us a brown bag to put the food inside. I appreciate her for saying sorry but it's too late. We already had a bad experience. I'll to have remove Delecta as of my favorite restaurants in town. I wish the best for the business. I hope that we all learn from this experience...

The food is almost always amazing and delicious, there was just one time when my family ate and the ribs were overdone and bitter but that was one time only. I would give this 5 star if they could get rid of the big woman who always frowns and has no customer service skills and courtesy. There was one time we came early at 10am and she shooed us off like dogs. She could have said something basic like "good morning, we will open at exactly 11am" and perhaps a friendly smile. Instead she frowns and is like this everytime we are there. She is never welcoming and gives the vibe that she is suffering and makes eating there miserable. I hope you either give her another position or let her find a new career...

Great food for reasonable prices! You don't want toe dine here if you are really hungry and eat in an instant because their serving time is 30 minutes after you order. I just want to comment about their staffs also. They were talking LOUDLY and making fun of one another while the customers are dining in front of them. I mean, it's really ok to have fun at work but I think you should avoid doing it in front of your customers like you're just in...
