Ambience was undeniably good especially since the weather cooperated. We were able to get riverside seating (i called ahead and made reservations). I found the buffet menu a little limited. I would have liked to have some veggies served alongside all the meat i consumed (to have some balance i guess...) Also, instead of rice, maybe an alternative of mashed potatoes..? The pasta (we tried the two kinds served tonight) was ok... nothing remarkable about it... The desserts could use a little improvment as the pastries we got seemed a little stale already... (maybe coz they were out in the open and exposed to the river breeze..?)

However, i would definitely, definitely recommend the sausages and cold cuts section (to my co-meat eaters, i highly suggest you give it a try coz they really did have a variety of sausages and coldcuts from german to italian to greek and filipino style sausages i don't even know where to start with the cold cuts.)

But the best part of our experience was the wait stafg. all of them, from the guard at the gate up to the busboys treated my wife and me as if we were VIPs which in all honesty felt good. I added a little extra to the service charge printed on our bill... my little way of saying thanks to our food and...

To the esteemed management and staff of Muelle Restaurant,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional dining experience my companions and I enjoyed on June 1st. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and courtesy. The complimentary welcome cake was a delightful start to a truly memorable meal.

Each course was a culinary masterpiece. The onion soup was rich and flavorful, the lamb chop steak cooked to perfection, and the Salpicao, Salmon, and Carrot cake were all exquisite. The Baclava was a sweet ending, perfectly complemented by the Sangria and Latte. Even the appetizers were unforgettable, setting the stage for a truly remarkable feast.

The service was impeccable. Christian and Genre were particularly attentive and friendly, ensuring our every need was met with a smile. The pleasant ambiance, enhanced by the lovely background music, added to the overall charm of the evening.

Muelle Restaurant is a true gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a sophisticated and satisfying dining experience in Iloilo. Thank you again for creating such wonderful memories during my holiday. I look forward to returning...

A friend recommended this place in december as one of the must visits in iloilo during my trip however the experience was disappointing to say the least. Firstly when we were about to order, most of the food in the menu was unavailable for some reason. The food took very long to be served, almost more than an hour and when the mains finally arrived it wasn't impressive. Servings were measly and tasted bland, I could have gotten better quality and standards elsewhere for the high prices they were charging. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive I had to keep following up for a CANNED drink! I even witnessed a customer walking out angrily as his drink was taking forever to be served. Service was horrible, the waiters were rude, inexperienced, inattentive and did not bother to follow up on our orders which took an eternity to be served. The only saving grace is the Riverside view which the restaurant was located. Lastly just before we left there was a cockroach running under the table which makes me question the hygiene. Hopefully the management steps up and does something to improve the terrible quality and service...

Turista here! If you're visiting Iloilo, El Muelle is a wonderful place to end your trip. Located right by the river, it offers a peaceful, scenic view that adds a special charm to the evening—especially at sunset. On our visit, we were lucky to enjoy live music from a local singer, which made the atmosphere even more delightful. The staff is warm and attentive, and the food truly impressed us. We had a thin-crust pizza, crisp and flavorful, and a fish and chips plate that was exactly what we were craving. You can choose sides like rice, bread, or vegetables—I went with buttered veggies, and they were cooked to perfection. We also ordered a cheese and cold cuts platter, generous enough for 2 to 3 people, and paired it with cold beers that hit the spot. As a welcome gesture, we received a complimentary portion of warm bread with garlic butter—simple, but absolutely comforting. All the dishes were well-portioned, beautifully presented, and fairly priced for the quality. If you're staying near the city proper, walking to El Muelle is easy and safe—making it an ideal spot for a relaxed, flavorful evening by the water.
