I’d like to share my recent experience, which left me feeling frustrated and misled.
First, the explanation of how the Bistro Group Card works was incredibly inaccurate. I felt “budoled” into purchasing it. I was told it included a ₱1,000 discount, only to find out it was actually just a little over ₱800 — a big difference from what was promised.
Jaja, one of the staff, initially mentioned that PWD and senior discounts could be applied on top of the ₱1,000 discount, which sounded great. But another crew member contradicted this and explained it in a condescending tone — like I was five years old. It felt degrading and dismissive.
What added to the disappointment was the overall service:
I ordered a meal that included salad and iced tea, and I had to remind them about it — something that should have come automatically.
We ordered steak with shrimp, but only received the steak. I had to follow up and check if the shrimp was even punched in.
We mentioned more than once that we had a companion celebrating a birthday. This was ignored until we started singing ourselves. Only then did the team do their “saddle” routine — awkwardly and last-minute, just as the restaurant was closing and no one was watching anymore.
What’s most upsetting is how we were treated like it was our first time dining at Texas Roadhouse — even though I clearly mentioned that I’ve dined there multiple times before. It felt like we were being stereotyped or judged based on how we looked that night. Was it really just poor communication, or did we not “look the part” of returning guests? That’s how it came across, and it left a really bad impression.
I truly hope your team takes this feedback seriously. I’ve had good experiences in the past, which is why this one was especially disappointing. Better communication, consistency in service, and basic respect for customers — regardless of how they look — would...
Read moreI’ve read so many good reviews about this restaurant, and true enough — it did not disappoint!
The staff were very accommodating, and we didn’t even have to wait to be seated since we chose to dine al fresco (we brought our fur baby 🐶 with us). Just expect lots of people walking by and noisy environment hehe.
We ordered their rib eye steak, roasted chicken, and salad with soft potatoes and onion strings as sides — everything was a solid 5/5.
The steak was so tender, perfectly seasoned, and honestly worth the experience. Their complimentary bread and nuts were also freshly baked and so good.
Sweet gesture too: when we asked for a paper bag to pack our leftover bread, they surprised us by giving another set to take home. 🥹
The whole experience made celebrating my birthday here so worth it. ✨ The only thing we couldn’t jump into yet is their membership (₱2,500, less ₱1,000 because our bill was almost ₱5k). Maybe next time 😂
Overall, Texas Roadhouse is definitely a place I’d recommend — great food,...
