WABI SABI JAPANESE FUSION — Restaurant in Koronadal

My new favorite place for sushi! It was worth the drive from Gensan. Although, it’s disappointing when a lot of the ones you want off the menu is unavailable when it was just newly opened. But that won’t deter me from coming back. First off, their Ramen was okay. It had thick grainy broth which I did not like, but the chashu was perfectly done and that I enjoyed eating! Especially the fat. 😋

I love how the sushi and 🍣 nigiris that came in our order (“TRUST THE CHEF platter”) were all fresh and exploding in flavors. Not the typical mayonnaise-doused sushi that you’ll normally get around here. Each one so unique that you’ll talk about every bite you have. But my absolute favorite was the seared salmon nigiri. Oh my word! 🤤 My mouth drools just thinking about it. That beautiful thing was so delicious I could probably talk about it all day. That salmon just melts in your mouth, it’s so good!

Dessert however, was nothing short of a disappointment. I’ve ordered it for my little one as it was the only thing I figured he would eat there as he loves nutella. And the menu described it “filled with nutella”. But it’s a fried boring crepe filled with generic chocolate. With a side of ice cream. We ended up just giving him the ice cream. Sad. But at least I know never to order that again.

Overall, I’d still give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ coz the sushi was the best. And I hope it...

The best Japanese restaurant in the city by far. A good mix of favorite dishes including popular japanese favorites like ramen, sushi, sashimi, etc.

Modern industrial look in its interiors with hints of Japanese pop culture. Casual dining experience. The focal point is the nice sushi bar that can hold about 8 persons at a time.

Great food, especially the sushi choices. Ramen is also good and comes in about 6 choices. Best seller must be pork ribs that is served nicely on a pot with charcoal.

Nice signature wasabi cheesecake and mochi for dessert.

Ok, this is the best Japanese place! Loved the flavors, prices are really good, and service was fast. Staff are amazing, and the place is comfortable. Never thought I'd ever eat "egg with Nutella" but that dessert was delicious 😋 The sushi options are varied and soooo good. Will definitely come back! Highly recommended!!! Tasty food. I loved the chicken katsu uramaki and my partner loved the salmon. Full of flavor! Even the edamame beans were amazing! Bravo and compliments...
