We came to have snacks after church. Glad that the reataurant was ready to accept guests as early as 9 AM. We wanted to try their Buko Halo-halo and some other food in the menu. So we also ordered their Chicken Shanghai and Fresh Lumpia. Halo-halo was ok although the coconut (buko) was a bit undersized. Shanghai was good. Fresh lumpia was also ok but we didn't like the white sauce. It didn't enhance the taste of the lumpia itself as it was kind of bland. The place was nice and quiet since it's Sunday morning. I liked the simple design of the place, especially the enclosed area although we opted to stay in the open area.

Listed in google as closed permanently but operational in reality. Had lunch dining on rice, local rendang beef in green curry sauce, fresh heart of palm or ubod lumpia in creamy white sauce with crushed peanuts and dessert of buko halohalo. Beef rendang was tender and green curry sauce was perfe tly seasoned. Ubod filling was tasty with hints of shrimp and pork. The unusual creamy sauce had cheesy flavors. Halo2 was made creamy by ube icecream and milk with candied jackfruit adding a delectable flavor. A bit slow in service and scrimping on table napkins was a bit irritating particularly no papertowels in the washroom.

It was great, the ambiance was very homey. Traditional Filipino cuisine is prepared with modern taste. Mostly basic, but it is worth for what you are paying for. Buko Halo-halo is a must-try here, as well. Also, they have an affordable event hall which is great for meetings, birthdays, and other...
