Caverna — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

The restaurant inside Tambuli Hotel offers a stunning view and a lovely atmosphere, with a quiet beach as a backdrop—perfect for a serene dining experience. Service was excellent, and the staff made us feel very welcomed. However, the food itself didn’t stand out, especially compared to Café Hojas on the same property, which offers a similar experience at a more reasonable price. Additionally, the table size felt cramped, making it challenging to enjoy multiple shared dishes comfortably. While the scenery and ambiance were a treat, the meal wasn’t memorable enough to warrant the higher price. Personally, I wouldn’t revisit, but it could be worth it for the view alone if that’s...

One of the best pastas I’ve had. Can’t go wrong with a truffle carbonara! My husband very much enjoyed his lamb as well so we have been here a few times now and they don’t disappoint. The staff is very experienced and the service is excellent. A rare find in Cebu in terms of food and service 🤗

We had some rose last night and that was excellent as well!! Ambiance is nice in the evening, very elegant and spacious.

Few steps down is the private beach of Tambuli Seaside so for a nice day swim at the beach would be perfect for a very yummy lunch after. I highly recommend this place if you want a nice night out or a date night for a semi fine...

So lucky to sample a specially prepared lunch at Caverna, (an upscale Mediterranean restaurant) by executive chef Gino Abing. Yesterday was a national holiday, so the restaurant is closed today, but manager Bayani Mediano and chef Abing opened it for us so we can sample Italian favorites, the fried and brick oven baked eggplant parmesan, Capricciosa pizza, and the truffle prawn carbonara. Absolutely delectable.
