We arrived around 6:30 PM, and the place was very crowded. I was with my mom, who is a senior citizen and holds a senior citizen card. We politely mentioned to the people in line that my mom is a senior and asked if we could go ahead, to which they kindly agreed.

We were assisted by a barista named “Iya,” who, unfortunately, did not even smile at us. She promptly told us that we could only order one drink since only my mom is a senior. I clarified this with her, explaining that I fully understand the terms and conditions—that only one drink can be discounted, and the rest would be at the regular price. However, she insisted that I would need to fall in line again for the other drinks and that she could only assist us with one drink.

I kindly explained that we had never encountered this rule in any other Starbucks branch. Despite this, she kept insisting that we needed to fall in line again. I pleases her and explained that my mom wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t afford to wait any longer if I fall in line for other drinks, but her attitude was unpleasant. She eventually agreed, but not without giving us a bad look.

I understand and respect the importance of fairness when it comes to senior citizen benefits, but if this is indeed a rule, why hasn’t it been consistently communicated at other Starbucks branches? It felt as though “Iya” was singling us out based on her tone and treatment toward us.

Moreover, Starbucks employees are expected to serve with a smile, especially when assisting customers at the counter. This kind of attitude leaves a negative impression. My mom even thanked her for eventually considering our request, but instead of a kind response, we were met with the rude remark: “Next time, follow the rules.”

I kindly request Starbucks to review this incident and address the behavior and attitude of the employee, “Iya.” We hope that she will be reminded of the proper way to treat customers. This experience has been disappointing, and we plan to escalate this concern to the LGU in Tagaytay as we believe it is a serious matter.

Thank you for taking the time to review this. I asked Starbucks company to reach out to us...

I haven't had the chance to take pictures, but I'd rate it as 5. :))

The overall ambience is perfect, it's cozy but it can get cold. The lights are well lit, the tables and chairs are adequate. There are electricity outlets for you to plug in. Some of the seats are not available, for social distancing purposes.

It has a ground floor and a second floor, where the cashier and the counter is situated.

The baristas and the whole crew are welcoming and friendly, the security guard at the moment can improve friendliness, or maybe he's just sleepy like me. Lol.

Anyway, the drinks are good as they're supposed to be. The pastries is well stocked and they're quite large than the average pastries I've seen at Manila.

There are tables outside, so you can enjoy the wind and the view.

If you'll dine in this shop, please be responsible for your trash. Don't be social climbers, drinking Starbucks and then being irresponsible. Lol.

How disrespectful to nature.

The restroom is alright, needs a little cleaning I guess? The light is a bit dark compared to other restrooms but I love how ambient it is.

I'd love to return someday :)

We weren't supposed to dine in this shop anyway, but SB Lavender Tagaytay is only open for takeouts.

Ahhhhh thanks for the...

To be honest I do love the place, ambience, Starbucks Twin Lakes Spot pero it would be nicer if the barista are more friendlier!!! ✌ ordered 9 drinks oh yesss because I am rushing to get my 18 stickers completed.. kasooooo I was just asking for a decent paper bag so I can carry those 9 drinks comfortably back to my resto eh ang sungit ni Ate Barista... why is sooo hard to provide paper bags????? For the drinks I purchased????? Wala na ba ako rason to request?? Then, I was asking if they can change my 1000 bill di daw pwede kasi wala daw, pero they're able to change a few customers?? Kaloka!!! Sa ibang branch very generous sa paper bags pero sa branch na to I swear!!!! May mga attitude!!! I do hope this year 2022 eh mas nicer, friendlier and...
