I just visited Four Seasons at SM Mall. While I understand it was a busy night, as a foreigner, I felt the initial response from the staff was very dismissive.

I was told up front there was “no room for 1 pax.” I told them I was happy to wait for a table. Only when I said this was I then informed of a 45-minute wait. I understand the challenges of managing a packed restaurant, but a more accommodating approach, such as offering a wait time upfront, would have made a significant difference. I also saw their waitlist and there were only two other groups on it, so I questioned whether they were really all that accommodating.

Four Seasons Restaurant has been one of our go-to restaurants here in Legazpi since 2013. And this was only my second time eating here in SM Legazpi (I've tried all their branches in Albay), and luckily, the amount of serving did not disappoint!

Their bestselling soy chicken is a 10/10, as always. It's sweet and tangy. The pancit is so-so, 5/10. The sweet and sour pork is a 6/10 because you can taste the starch from the meat. The chopsuey is too bland for me, so a 5/10.
