I just visited Four Seasons at SM Mall. While I understand it was a busy night, as a foreigner, I felt the initial response from the staff was very dismissive.
I was told up front there was “no room for 1 pax.” I told them I was happy to wait for a table. Only when I said this was I then informed of a 45-minute wait. I understand the challenges of managing a packed restaurant, but a more accommodating approach, such as offering a wait time upfront, would have made a significant difference. I also saw their waitlist and there were only two other groups on it, so I questioned whether they were really all that accommodating.
