Food is pretty average but pricey. Dined twice.
First time we had their special salad, mixed seafood tonpei egg winding , spicy tonkotsu ramen, and spicy miso ramen.
Second time we had their seafood mix okonomiyaki and pressed unagi sushi.
-salad tasted okay but pricy for what it has. -mixed seafood tonpei egg winding was the best in quality in general. Ratio of the sauce was pretty good. Still pricey though for what it had. -both ramen were average. definitely not the cheap kind from sauce packets but a far cry from something from ippudo + also overpriced compared to it (quality and quantity-wise). but probably one of the better ramen options in town -seafood okonomiyaki was too mushy inside. Seasoning was also subpar unlike the tonpei egg winding. Customer basically has to find the perfect ratio of sauce to the mayonnaise. -the unagi portion in the unagi sushi was alright but the sushi is poorly made and the rice is overcooked. It also falls apart easily compared to other unagi sushi I've tried. Considering that this is the most expensive part of their menu, that's disappointing.
Overall I wouldn't really recommend coming back repeatedly. Food is admittedly decent and nothing tasted bad per se. But I don't want just decent food for the prices they're charging. You're better off going to Delica and Wasabi-san (which are both nearby).
At most I might come back for their unagi sushi just because unagi is hard to come by locally but...
Read moreIf you want good food bad service go here. I was with my family and already ate somewhere else so we went here to check thier food not really a critique but their crew is "matapobre"( judging our appearance) since we ordered a few of their food in the menu they didn't serve us well, morelikely they were ignoring our request to get some bowls and a few plates and utensils. We understand that their not fast food but observing the surroundings they already gave out service water and utensils to other customers who just arrived at their table, we felt discriminated and dissatisfied with their service. Take note they charge for service fee with very poor service. I am just unhappy with...
Read moreI’ll start with the food. The good is the karaage (deep fried chicken). The all star is a sampler of three different flavors, with garlic being the best of all. The pork miso tonkotsu ramen with bbq pork was a disappointment; the fatty pork had so little lean even though I asked for it. The soup/broth had a 2-3mm layer of oil; the kitchen is not taking care of the base soup and they should be ashamed to let this out of their kitchen. The music, if you can call it that, did not belong in a Japanese restaurant. Maybe they don’t have to pay royalties to play 70s disco club music (the music was not good music). The waiter didn’t seem to care to be here. There are better restaurants;...
