Uncle Ton's — Restaurant in Legazpi

This place is rated #1 restaurant in Legazpi among Google reviews. They were raving about the pizza served here. Out of curiosity, I went there to pick up a box of Uncle Ton's Special pizza to try it out personally.

My verdict? Nothing special. The pizza sauce is too sweet for my taste. You can't compare it to Domino's (which I like best) or Angel's pizza (my second favorite). I would compare Uncle Ton's pizza similar to 3M, except that I like 3M better.

The pizza edge though is stuffed with mozzarella, so for sure, you're going to completely finish a slice.

Second good point is they serve fast. Third, for Php439.00 for a box of their 12 inch special thick pizza, plus the edge is stuffed, this is reasonable. Not cheap, but reasonable.

Would I go back to the place the next time I'm in Legazpi? Definitely won't be ordering their pizza anymore. But I'd like to try their smoked ribs (1 whole slab for Php610) and pasta (starts at Php149 for their Baked Mac to Php199 for...

Definitely satisfied my pasta cravings ❤ Have been here loads of times with different people and all of them really liked it (including me). Quite pricey for a student like me but is definitely worth it. Perfect for date nights and eating out with family or friends. They have a homey feel to their place and the staff is professional. One con for me is that it takes some time for the food to be served but nothing that good ol' patience can not counter. Also you'd forgive them cos the food really taste like time and effort has been put into it to make it taste so yummy! ❤ It's a 9/10 for me....

I went there for lunch and ordered their house special, the half-slab smoked ribs (₱440), and damn, the ribs honestly didn’t look NOR taste na it’s smoked.

Like, the dish tasted like it was just reheated since it wasn’t even mildly warm when it was served, and the sauce was weirdly sweet.

The only thing I liked about that place was its ambience, and the fact that the mashed potatoes (₱30) and iced tea (upgrading for the bottomless option is cheap since it’s only ₱70, and well worth the price tbh) was actually really good, and tasted somewhat like the ones you’d eat in BIGGS, except for a...
