Botejyu SM City Lipa — Restaurant in Lipa

We went there today noon time and only 2 tables were occupied.

There’s no host, and a staff going out from his duty just told us that we can go in.

Inside, the person who seems to be a supervisor or team lead is talking on the phone in a very loud voice as if he’s in his house. This went on for maybe 30mins

The service is baaaaaaad omg I am so disappointed coz I know Japanese restaurants have a quality to their name. I was thinking tho if they are not paid properly.

We were not greeted properly, our order was taken by a not so enthusiastic staff.

I have a lot to say but the bottom line is that the service is so baaaaad.

Or maybe we’re just used to how lively and friendly the other Japanese restos are.

The food came, we ate, and when we left, they didn’t even recognize us, tho the staff saw us leave. no “thank you” no “see us again soon” nada.

To the Management, are you treating your people well?

The FOOD IS BAD. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. The service is the worst in the whole world. It's like we are treated we couldn't afford it and just blatantly gave us a bad service while the other table around us was treated good because they look richer. When they were only ordering One bowl of ramen to be shared around by 3 people. We ordered a lot yet our food came so late. THE SERVER IS THE WORST OF THEM ALL, HE IS WEARING GREY SHIRT DIFFERENT from those wearing black ones so I'm guessing he has higher position yet treated us so badly. You are supposed to treat your customers equal but you looked down on us. The atmosphere real bad. Nothing about this Botejyu SM Lipa is good or great. If you looked down on us so badly you could've rejected us from dining there. I wish I knew the name of that server. We were literally ignored. We are never going back to Botejyu SM Lipa. I suggest you find a different place. It is not worth your pretty money to...

The highlight of our meal was definitely the food. The staff was attentive and ensured that our orders were served promptly, with great attention to detail. I also enjoyed the variety of other dishes, including their Ramen and takoyaki, which were bursting with authentic Japanese flavors.
