Lipa Grill — Restaurant in Lipa

I never review restaurants or any place in google maps but this is a very unfortunate situation that needs to be addressed.

Unfortunately, we came in the wrong time. We just got out for the ER of Mediatrix and thought we will eat here since we ate here a while ago and we liked the food.

However, once the food was brought, the Sisig had a funny smell and the rice was not thoroughly cooked. The smell was so strong that the moment the sisig plate was placed on the table, we immediately smelled it. We asked them to change that sisig and the rice. we thought they would just reheat the sisig or that the sisig will just make our stomach go bad so we changed it to bistek. We also had bistek as a take out but when we opened it at home, it had a sour smell so we didn’t eat it.

They did give us a 100+ discount for the bad food. Too bad the food was really delicious last time and it was the very first proper meal we had...

AMBIENCE long and spacious restaurant (2 floors) stairway available at both ends aircon display of fresh mangoes, cakes, and brookies (probably a "brownie cookie") freezer full of Koibito's Artisinal Gelato waiting area (black sofas) high-chairs for toddlers male, female, and PWD-friendly restrooms flatscreen TV (but off at the time)

FOOD Inihaw na Tuna Belly - tender, tasty, light on tummy Mangga at Itlog na Maalat - salty and sour goodness Mais Con Yelo - no frills, delicious Garlic Rice - perfect for 2 with generous serving of garlic Barako Affogato is in menu food options cater more to groups than couples

First time dining here and had a great experience! Food was actually very good and tasty! Must tries are their Kinilaw na Tanigue and Inihaw na Pusit! 👌 The place is easy to locate, resides corner lot entrance of an Executive Village. Parking is ample, can accomodate alot of guest. It has a traditional Filipino kubo vibes theme resto, compensates with their Filipino comfort food. Serving Time needs improvement, understandable though, since the place is quite big, they should have service button on each kubo to easily call the attention of the waiters if needed. Overall, very nice resto dine with family and friends. Highly Recommended! 👍 will definitely come back, when I visit...
