I ordered the moist brownie and a hot coffee or latte (forgot the exact name). Size of the hot coffee was too small compared to the iced drink ordered by my friend (see pic for reference). They only have 1 size so I feel like I was ripped off. Moist brownie wasn't what I expected and the outer parts were too hard. It felt like it had been there on display for days. (Until I try other food, I'll keep my rating as is. Though I'm not sure when I'll be back again)
Service could be improved. I asked one staff to change the direction of the air conditioner/vent as it was too cold but she didnt really change anything, just pressed some buttons on the remote. The other staff was stingy with the wifi password. My friend got 2 wifi passwords (1 password = 1hr wifi usage). So I asked for 2 passwords as well but the staff refused to give me 2. My teams meeting ended up being disconnected as their wifi only lasts for 1 hour. So I dont recommend this place for working/studying. They are stingy with the wifi.
What I liked about the place - free water service station, clean bathroom, bright ambiance. But as I said, I'm not sure when I'll...
Read moreI visited cooper’s in another branch and I left a bit disappointed. The food & drinks were good but the atmosphere was meant more for families and busier people. Their internet was difficult to connect to and the lighting was not the best.
However, I wanted to give cooper’s a second chance here in their EDSA branch. I took an MRT ride and walked all the way from Annapolis station. Despite my sweaty appearance, the staff still welcomed me with a smile. I ordered their roast beef sandwich and cold brew. They have pastries, cakes, and cookies but no meals. Their cold brew is not too strong but it isn’t watered down either. For wifi, it’s limited to 4 hours per device and there are plenty of sockets near the bench area and high chairs.
This branch is a great place for students studying or friends just hanging out, maybe a place to chill while waiting for your car to get fixed. It isn’t as accessible or near other establishments which I guess adds to its secluded and peaceful ambiance.
After this experience, I can say cooper’s has redeemed itself for me. I can’t wait to come...
Read moreWent here on a Sunday for a working brunch. The coffee shop is spacious, has lots of tables, and sockets. They also have limited wifi for 2 hours and the mobile data signal in the area is definitely good too.
The prices are a bit expensive because I opted for the signature drinks. You can choose the classics which are less than Php 200. The food are quite limited tho—they have crepes and sandwiches.
I ordered honey oat latte and chicken pesto sandwich. Infairness with the sandwich, generous ang serving ng chicken and it’s cheesy, which I love! The honey oat latte tastes good as well but if you want stronger coffee, you need to add one more espresso shot to appreciate this...
