In a nutshell:
Looking for a delicious steakhouse in the Times Square area in Mandaue City? Look no further than Bris.ket Steakhouse. They opened September of 2022 so they are a newcomer.
Their place is cozy with a warm vibe and ambiance suitable for dining for two, or dining with more than 4 people.
There is a "Batman memorabilia" or display to look at (and most of the stuff there is really expensive). Anyway, they have menus to cater for those heavy eaters (steaks), and for those looking for quick bites or snacks.
It is a nice place to hang around or lounge around. So try this place and enjoy your meals.
How to get there:
This is located at City Time Square opposite Park Mall. Most public transportation pass through City Time Square, although the bus / jeepney stop is in the park Mall area - so you may need to walk to get to Bris.ket. There is ample parking for private vehicles, and (sometimes) free parking for motorcycles / scooters.
Pros:
Good steaks (I tried the New Zealand Salisbury Steak)
good price for steaks and other dishes
friendly and helpful staff
really nice ambiance
Ample parking, and sometimes free parking for 2-wheeled vehicles
other restos and bistro's to visit for desserts
They accept cashless payment like GCash
Good selection of wines and spirits to compliment your steaks and meals
Cons
Restroom is located outside
the mango shake was a bummer for me 😐 For 200 pesos, I didn't even taste the "real" mango flavor. For that price they should at least put like 80% real mango bits, followed by the rest. FYI, we did not even care to finish the shake.
Hard to find for first timers as it is well into the area within City Time Square
You need to call them out if you need steak sauces, ketchup, or other condiments, when in fact, they should be served along with the steak ordered.
Conclusion:
This is a really nice place to go on dates and with family / friends. Try their Salmon Steak. Within this area they are the best I'd recommend when going for steaks and meat dishes.

Read moreBrizket Steakhouse - Ayala Terraces, Cebu My latest culinary adventure took me to Brizket Steakhouse at Ayala Terraces, Cebu. Here’s the lowdown on what went down:
Burger with Onion Rings First up, the burger. It strutted out with a side of onion rings, looking promising. But alas, the bun was as cold as my ex's heart and untoasted. The patty? Dry and just warm, not sizzling as one would hope. And where were the gherkins the menu teased? Nowhere in sight. The onion rings were hot and crispy but tasted like someone forgot the seasoning.
Pork Chop with Vegetables and Gravy Next, the pork chop. Let’s just say it was a workout for my jaw – tough and chewy. The veggies were a delightful surprise, perfectly cooked and the star of the plate. But the gravy? Served cold, which is a big no-no. On the bright side, the presentation was Instagram-worthy.
French Onion Soup Then came the French onion soup. The broth was decent and served hot, but it seemed like the chef was stingy with the onions. And where was the cheesy, crouton-y topping? Missing in action. A bit of a letdown for a classic favorite.
Ambiance The ambiance was just okay. Acoustic pop songs played softly in the background, creating a laid-back vibe but nothing to write home about.
Service and Cleanliness The cutlery and glasses were spotless, which is always a plus. The service, however, was pretty standard. The waitress took our orders and tried to upsell, but she couldn’t give any recommendations or insights into the dishes.
Overall, Brizket Steakhouse left me with mixed feelings. Some hits, more misses, and definitely room for improvement. If you're in the area, avoid this place and go spend your hard earned money...
