The Clay Oven

I heard about this restaurant from Let's eat pare and since it's near our place we decided to try it. This is located in Sans Hotel near C and B Mall( Circle Mall) so there's a lot of parking here. The place is quiet and clean, inside the restaurant they have lots of tables and it is well designed( Indian inspired), they also have a VIP room good for around 8-12 guests. You can use the VIP room for 6-8k pesos and it's consumable, pretty good deal if you ask me. Prices are around 200-600php normal price for restaurants with good interiors and location. We ordered their best seller Kebab platter it's around 600+php I'm not expecting anything from it honestly because kebab is kebab but I was surprised when it was served to us. They got two sticks of kebab one chicken and one beef with around 1ft in length, it also comes with Pita Bread and around 3 servings of biryani rice (talk about SULIT!). We also ordered Paratha and it's really good, the owner recommended that we pair it with butter chicken sauce( I'm glad she did because this became my wife's favourite). We also got Lassi for dessert and the price is not bad and I love both flavours strawberry and mango. There's a lot on the menu that we haven't tried, they serve Indian, Mediterranean and Filipino food so there's a lot to choose from.

My rating for Clay oven is 5/5

Recommendes items: Kebab platter ( SULIT) Paratha with butter chicken sauce( these are 2 separate items). Mango and Strawberry Lassi.

What I like: 1.lots of parking 2.the place is quiet and clean even the rest room. servings have huge portions. The price is not bad for food quality.

Things to improve: Some seats I feel like it's not durable for someone big like me, it's...

Visiting Clay Oven in Marikina was an absolute delight, a culinary journey that transcended borders. This multi-cuisine restaurant has a special place in my heart, especially for their Mediterranean offerings. The hummus was creamy and rich, the kebabs tender and flavorful, and the Indian curries were a riot of flavors that tantalized the taste buds.

The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall dining experience. It was warm, welcoming, and had a certain charm that made the meal even more enjoyable. The function room was not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing, adding a touch of elegance to the place.

One aspect that stood out was the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the toilets. The ample parking space provided added convenience, making the visit hassle-free.

The star of the show, however, is Chef Liza, the world-class chef with global experience. The dishes were not only delicious but also showcased the chef's extensive culinary skills and knowledge. The quality of the food was a testament to the chef's expertise and dedication to providing a memorable dining experience.

In conclusion, Clay Oven is a gem in Marikina, offering a wide range of cuisines prepared with care and expertise. It is a place that food lovers should not miss. The combination of great food, cozy ambiance, cleanliness, and a world-class chef makes it a perfect place for a casual meal or a special...

Stumbled upon this hidden gem in Marikina while we were looking for a pet-friendly restaurant while on the way home.

Food was superb. Their kebab platter was so good, we had to order another serving for to-go. Highly recommended. Also, we loved how the chicken biryani was accustomed to the Filipino palate. However the biryani rice was slightly salty on its own, but the sauce that comes with the dish balances it out and compliments the chicken. We also loved how the chicken was not too spicy, and it was marinated and cooked really well.

I ordered their mango lassi and was surprised how good it tasted. I loved how balanced it was compared to the other lassis that I’ve tried here in Manila. It also tasted like a mango ice cream with a slight hint of yogurt. Will definitely try the strawberry one in our next visit.

We also got their leche flan for dessert. We loved how creamy and smooth it was. And just like what the aunties would say: “Masarap, hindi masyadong matamis.”

Service was good. Their staff was friendly and accommodating, plus the chef even smiled and said hi to our puppy. That’s a plus point for me.

The atmosphere was okay, chairs were comfy, the music was okay, and they also have a spacious parking outside.

Overall, we were glad to discover The Clay Oven. Hope that they will continue to have great food and service. We will definitely come back to try their other...

We celebrated my mother’s birthday today at Clay Oven, and from the moment we arrived, the owner and staff made us feel so warmly welcomed. One of the main reasons we chose this place was because it’s pet-friendly, something our family has been searching for, and it truly did not disappoint. The food was excellent—every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The baklava dessert was a standout, absolutely chef’s kiss, and both my mom and uncle couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved it. The atmosphere was cozy, homey, and very inviting, and I also appreciated how clean and well-kept the bathroom was. A special highlight was when they surprised my mom with a complimentary slice of cake for her birthday, even though we didn’t request one. That small gesture really made the celebration extra memorable. Overall, I truly love this place. Thank you, Clay Oven, for giving us such a wonderful experience—we’ll definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved our experience at The Clay Oven Restaurant! If you're looking for authentic, flavorful food and generous portions, this place is a must-visit. We ordered the Chicken and Beef Kebab Platter, and it was a total showstopper—perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with smoky, spiced flavor. The Chicken Biryani was fragrant and delicious, served with raita sauce on the side that added the perfect cool, tangy balance. A special mention goes to the Buttered Chicken—rich, creamy, and full of bold spices. It's definitely a must-try dish! To top it all off, we indulged in one of their Dubai Series desserts—the Kunafa Pistachio Cheesecake—and it blew us away. It was the perfect mix of creamy, crunchy, and sweet, with just the right amount of Middle Eastern flair. From food to service to ambiance, everything was spot on. Highly recommend for anyone craving a true flavor adventure!❤️
