Probably the worst cafe france branch to visit is here at the SLEX Southbound stopover. This wasn't a self service restaurant, but we had to grab our own condiments, glass and utensils. We asked for three more glasses.but it never came, even though it was 10am, and they were at around 30% capacity. Coffee stains were in some of the tissue papers and they had very unsanitary utensils, traces of food in some spoons and when we informed the cashier, they just shrugged it off and tried to find us a new one. Also, I overheard crew members while noisily sawing the boxes in half, "wala tagahugas" so good thing we cleaned the utensils beforehand.
As for the food, I had corned beef slab, the meat was overcooked. I would have named it Tapa slab instead.
The Cajun quinoa was a bit underwhelming, barely any taste until we added salt.
Overall horrible service with mediocre food. Deserves less than a star...

Whike I cant speak to the food directly, I can say the pastries made in-house are amazing. The chocolate walnut croissant is sooo good, and an excellent addition with your coffee beverage. Whatever chocolate they use is delishious. If you need a caffeine kick or just a sweet treat, I would recommend the stop. Good prices and clean,...
Read moreWas pleased with our experience here. We ordered petit coffee which was a heaping cup full, prepared just right, served right with thick mugs. We also ordered chicken and ham and bacon sandwich. The size was generous and the quality was superb, meaning we didn't expect it to be this good in a gas station terminal. The space is a two storey affair, air-conditioned and aire libre if you prefer. Our meal was good for brunch at a very affordable price. I hope to look for other branches...
