I suggest to anyone who's planning to come here to stay away. I had been curious about it since I saw it during a drive with a companion and I finally satisfied my curiosity. After looking at the Christmas lights and display at the Silay City Public Plaza, we headed to Cafe 1925 to have some light chow. We ordered fish and chips and a tres leches cupcake. The latter was too small for 65 pesos and tasted like a macaroon with a creamy and soft center. We waited a long time for the fish and chips. Very cozy and very clean! And they have something that I have been searching for-molo soup! There may be other establishments that may serve the best molo soup but this was heaven enough for me! The snall but plump dumplings, shreds of chicken and that rich garlicky taste in hot broth! Fantastic!
I also had a plate of chicken inasal pesto- a twist of the famous ilonggo chicken and it was good and so homey!

I came to try their Beef Stew and Lasagna but was disappointed when the waitress told me that some of their food were not available including the dishes I came for. I opted to try the Chicken Salpicao, a safe choice at that time. It was good and the serving was quite okay. I then had Pesto with Dried Fish to-go for my snack. The pasta was amazing! The pesto was not too strong and the dried fish gives this crunch and texture to the plate. It was definitely the star of my experience at Café 1925 but I will surely be back to try...
