Urban Deli — Restaurant in Olongapo

This is our 2nd time in urban deli, We walk in this morning at around 8:30, August 24. There are total of 7 guest and I see 1 server attending a table of 5 and 2 staff behind the bar area, the bartender looked at us and NEVER have say a single word like she see no one, simple GOOD MORNING to acknowledge a guest would be great and give positive impression, we sat down and wait,the server attending the other table is finally finished taking orders, he took the menu and walk to menu rack and PUT THEM BACK , did not even BOTHERED TO PRESENT MENU TO US so my husband took menu for us, we were REALLY DISAPPOINTED! We decided to walked out the door as we believed customers should be treated atlease a simple respect. My husband gave a good review about the service here before, but this time it proved thier service is HIT AND MISS In my point of view for a restaurant business, welcoming a guest is a start of the business deal. I was hoping that the deli counter would be a little bigger. It was very limited. But I bought lunch while I was here. The menu made it look like the food could be well made here. The prices are premium so I thought even a simple cheese burger should be good.. The results were OK but really not worth the money.. Greesy fries.. Very doughy bun so when chewing all I could taste was the bread. As soon as you picked it up the pattie slid out. The burger pattie was good.. Onions were perfect. The dressing was a cheap thousand Island dressing. But the strangest thing was the cheese.. They had cut thin strips of it and just placed it around the edge of the burger. Nothing in the middle. It left me feeling that if they are trying to deceive me about cheese then what else are they hiding. I doubt I will be back for this...

I like the sandwiches here, roast beef with soft roll is my favorite.

Overall quiet Space, good for 3-4 friend or couples enjoy bonding time. I have been here more than 10 times.

Import Beers Selection was the first attraction for me in the first few time. Bakery on ground floor swift my favor to their sandwiches since there is no subway here in Subic area. I have been to there in the morning enjoy the fresh air and view, a lagoon behind the scene was peaceful. A lunch with friends enjoy Steak and wine also a fun and relax experience. A Dinner at second floor can outlook to Yacht Club Harbor with sparking lights in the dark make a personal unwind space after working hard for a long time.
