Trattoria Altrove Subic — Restaurant in Olongapo

It was our first time trying this restaurant here in Subic inside the Subic Yacht Club compound.

True and authentic Italian restaurant that is highly recommended! 10/10 for the quality and taste!

We ordered soup, salad, steak, and pizza, and we tried their spritz, too. The dessert is something you shouldn't miss!

The staff were amazing and are very proactive. Their manager, Ms. Lorna checked on us and even made some recommendations based on her fave.😊

We had to dine two consecutive dinners, as we wanted to try more, but we forgot to take a photo.

We sat in the al fresco area, and the breeze was perfect and overlooking the bay where there were few yachts on cruise.

This will surely be one of my family's new go-to places here...

Tried this so-called “authentic” Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. Having been to several Italian spots before, this one felt overrated.

The Quattro Formaggi tasted more like a basic Margherita, none of the rich, distinct cheese flavors you’d expect, and surprisingly, no honey was available to pair with it, despite the restaurant having a full bar, the salad is ok.

Service was also a letdown. We requested for all dishes to be served together, but still had to wait over 10 minutes just for the pizza. The hostess and servers seemed inattentive and disengaged throughout.

Overall, not the Italian experience we were hoping for. Definitely room for improvement both in food quality...

Pizza and chicken in the picture were both savory and flavorful. Wish there was a better beer selection like super dry and cerveza negra. Cocktails were alright . Our olive oil bottle was broken ,good thing it did not spill while pouring. Staff are obviously well trained. Outdoor area would have been better with a roof because it's useless when raining. Toilet too is outside and if it's raininy,you're wet...still ,a great new resto in Subic and would be up there among...
