Was really excited to dine in with my family after seeing so many 🌟 in google. So here it is.
Overall, the restaurant's ambiance is really beautiful, well lit, proper table spacing, clean utensils, best part, clean restrooms.
The staff's are fantastic, they are up to their toes and ready to provide you with excellent customer service. From a big smile the moment we arrived, down to saying "thank you" after we exited. It would be great if they will consider getting a training for the "Filipino Brand of Service" from the Department of Tourism since 99% of their diners are tourists (we were the only Pinoys 😉)
Now, the food... It is a MUST for you to try their CEREAL SHRIMP, (it would be great if they use the same recipe and add chicken fingers in their menu), pair it with the BLACK PEPPER PASTA, you are in for a treat...
Last on our table was their "Grilled Platter" which is a combination of some pork skewers, which by the way is really tender (needs more sauce though 😋), some grilled onions, garlic, a slice of pineapple and some peppers. What made me give them a less of 5 star was their grilled shrimp, they are small shrimps, which takes lesser time to grill, what we've had were burnt shrimps... They were no longer juicy, too dry and the skin was really hard to remove. Lastly, I do hope that they will offer more sauces to compliment their grilled platter, we only got 2 types of sauce which is a sweet vinegar dip and the other one tatsted like a toned down siracha.
Over all we enjoyed our dinner, will I recommend them to friends? Definitely, will I dine in again? Absolutely! Value for money?...
Read moreIt was the best meal I had in Bohol.
I was worried because it was a bit far from Alona beach, but I saw a Google review and trusted it, and it was the best food I‘ve ever eaten in Bohol.
There were some mosquitoes, but the staff kept taking care of us, so we were less bitten and they are very kind. The food was clean and the cereal chicken, stew, morning glory, and the signature BBQ menu were just so delicious, and the mango in the mango high ball glass was so delicious and fresh. Among them, stew is REAL. I wanted to eat spicy food and i ate the stew. my body warms up and my appetite turns. The atmosphere is quiet and it’s so good!
Sometimes there are planes, but when we were there, a plane only took off once, so the noise was not a problem.
After we finished our meal, they took us to Alona Beach. I don‘t know if there was a pick-up and drop service, but it was a very friendly and kind.
I hope this place becomes famous! Please visit even if...
Read moreWe found this place after reading reviews on a Naver café. Since J always feels more comfortable with a reservation, we chose KRI because it was easy to book through KakaoTalk.
Everything on the menu was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable too. We had tried the platter menu on a previous day, so this time we ordered several dishes — and every single one was amazing! My personal favorite was the creal shrimp — crispy, juicy, slightly sweet... absolutely perfect!
This trip was a three-generation family vacation, and the food suited everyone’s tastes — from our parents to the kids. Our parents also loved the atmosphere and the overall dining experience.
We’ll definitely be coming back to KRI the next...
