Dahan Specialty Coffee — Restaurant in Parañaque

Dahan perfectly captures the chill neighborhood coffee shop vibe. The baristas are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the drinks. The ambience is chill, the music not too loud, with big bright windows and minimalist design.

As their name says, you go here for speciality coffee. So the only food choices are an assortment of pastries and desserts - the ever-reliable Buckys, and creamy cheesecake. Don't expect full meal choices like other cafes.

The coffee itself is great, and reasonably priced with good serving size for speciality coffee. Favorites are the flat white, the pour over, the Spanish latte. But they also have good non-coffee options like the horchata, chai latte, matcha latte (these were slightly too milky for my taste though).

Overall if you want a chill coffee break or if you want to start your day with good coffee, Dahan is the perfect place to go to :)

Other notes: I did notice slight changes in the drinks depending on the barista that day. One time the Spanish latte tasted a bit too milky that we had to order an additional espresso shot, the next it was just right. One time the flat white we ordered had a latte art finish, the next it didn't. A lot of parking because it shares the parking lot of President Grove Opens at 8am, perfect for early...

We headed to Dahan to get some work done, knowing it wouldn’t be too crowded—perfect for finishing things early and staying productive.

When we checked out the menu, I was surprised to see full-on food offerings. What really caught me off guard was that the kitchen was right in front of us, and honestly, I couldn’t figure out where or how they were cooking everything. But to my amazement, the food turned out incredible! I seriously wanted to order it all over again—it was that tasty. How they pulled it off? I have no idea, haha!

As for the drinks, shoutout to the barista! She was super accommodating and customized my drink exactly to my liking—without compromising the original blend. Smooth and well-balanced.

Love this place! Great service and selection of non-coffee items, although I hope they have more refreshers in the future.

Staff is always very friendly and helpful! The music is always a vibe and it’s not too loud.

The big windows add to the ambience although it does mean the sunlight just strikes directly through the cafe and sometimes makes it hotter for the tables in front.

Wifi is ok most of the time, but what I like is that they don’t put a time limit on it like other cafes. Some tables have plugs.

Also wish they would bring back the sustainable straws! Otherwise one of the best...
