I ordered braised beef for 199 then decided to include a wonton soup add-on that's supposed to be 40 pesos. The person at the counter still charged me 50 pesos. What a mess.

There was also this one time, I ordered chao fan with ice tea as take out since the one drinking it can't drink softdrinks. They gave me a coke and insisted that it's iced tea.

One time, humingi ako ng gravy tapos sinalin lang ng isang crew yung gravy na galing sa maliit na baso. Nung nakita ko siya nagmadali siyang lumayo. Seriously?

Atmosphere:

A bit cleaner compared to other branches since it's newer. On the other hand, you'll often find plates still unattended on tables to the point that customers have to get their attention just to get the table cleaned.

Food:

Their chao fan is so dry, I had to use 2 toyomansi just to salvage the whole thing.

Certainly a lot can still be improved. The whole place is a mess during busy hours. One time, I had to wait for more than 30 mins for one takeout order. I had to do a follow-up since my order keeps getting pushed back by other dine in orders. Talk about "fast food" experience.

Some food like their Chinese-style Fried Chicken is shitty when you order them as takeout. You get a gravy on a very small container and the chicken is notably small. Their pancit canton is inconsistent. Vegetables were not properly cooked which made my mother very disappointed. The noodles of their wanton mami was also inconsistent. And those orders weren't even from busy hours.

At least, they're not stingy when you ask for condiment. And they're also willing to assist older people. If you'll eat here, avoid busy hours like...

We went here at 11 pm to eat dinner. This Chowking branch has Burger King on its left, and Jollibee on the right is also open. Despite several customers for all three restaurants, there are still plenty of parking spaces. We were in queue to order food for about 5 minutes and we received our order in 15 minutes.

Their braised beef is the ultimate classic Chowking dish. Everything we ordered is as we remembered it. We are very satisfied with our experience.
