Lido Cocina Tsina — Restaurant in Pasig

I will not let this opportunity pass to review Lido in C. Raymundo to let the future customers and the owner know how upsetting our experience was. We were there on Tues Nov. 19 around 5pm.

We were never given a menu when we sat, we even have to wait for them so we can ask for one. Took a few minutes before they attended us, TAKE NOTE: only 2 tables were occupied. 1 table with 4 customers almost done eating and us 3. Like they never saw us coming. And FYI we were with our 90 yr. Old Grandma. No assistance from the staff as they were so busy laughing and chitchatting/chismisan. There was this waiter who kinda helped with the table, but that was it.

The served us water that was like been there the whole day on the counter, though it was okay it was not cold but, they never offered ice. Which they should have and said there was no more, but they were able to provide ice for the gulaman.

We ordered: Pancit canton share Chicken congee solo Fish congee solo *Bola bola congee solo Pork siomai Crispy tofu in Salt and pepper Mini pao asado 6 pcs Black gulaman

They served pancit canton and the tofu first, took a while to serve the rest of the dishes. And when they served the congee, we were so surprised that it was cold! We have to tell them to reheat it. When it was served again, it took a good 10-15mins. To make matters worst, that made me so irritated, when idk if that was the manager (in yellow) who said "ma'am, hindi po naprepare yung isang congee na bolabola" "cancel na lang po?" No apologies, like do I have a choice??? and that was my order! My patience was hotter than the congee! But I need to be patient and relax bec we know stories that when a customer complains or get mad with their orders, staff might retaliate. In short, they might do bad, yucky stuff to rest of the food that was not yet served. I had to wait for a few minutes to be informed that I am not waiting for anything!

BTW, we have to follow up for the rest of the orders like the black gulaman, siomai and siopao.

We weren't able to finish all the siopao. We took home 3 siopaos and asked for a new sauce. When we ate it the following day, guess what.. the sauce has water on it, so thin (malabnaw)! The sauce they served has a thick consistency as opposed to what they gave us for the take home sauce.

FYI: we have to attend to ourselves, like get the soysauce and chili from the other table like CARINDERIA STYLE.

Please owner of Lido, paki ayos po ang ang mga tao niyo sa C. Raymundo, Pasig Branch. We enjoyed eating in Lido Antipolo, different from this branch. Staff there were attentive. For now, that will be the last time we will eat in the Pasig branch, unless changes with the staff will take place. Food is good, service at its...

We love the sizzling plum asado and lido rice. So this resto has been one of our Sunday lunch options. Dishes are well flavored and reasonably priced. Have bad experiences tho with being served fish that was partly still raw twice already. Although they did replace the dish, I think I'll never order fish again at this branch. Also, the last time we went, the mucho size platter of rice was not as big as it used to be. But even with these complaints, we'll probably still come back. Lido...
