I recently visited GC Café with high hopes of enjoying a delightful coffee experience. However, I must say that my overall impression was rather underwhelming. Allow me to share my honest review of my visit.
First and foremost, the coffee itself left much to be desired. Despite the promising reputation of GC Café, I found the quality of their coffee to be nothing remarkable. The flavors were mediocre, lacking the richness and depth I expected. Considering the price I paid for my cup, I couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. Speaking of prices, I must admit that I found GC Café to be on the pricier side. While I understand that quality comes at a cost, the value for money I received fell short of my expectations. The steep prices coupled with the lackluster coffee experience left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied.
On a positive note, I must commend the staff at GC Café. Their friendly and attentive service was a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster visit. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant customer experience. The staff's professionalism and warm demeanor deserve recognition. However, I found the atmosphere of GC Café to be lacking. The ambiance did not match the standard I would expect from a coffee establishment. The seating arrangements felt cramped, and the overall atmosphere lacked the cozy and inviting charm that I seek when visiting a coffee shop.
In conclusion, my experience at GC Café left much to be desired. While the staff's exceptional service was a redeeming factor, the mediocre coffee, high prices, and underwhelming atmosphere were significant drawbacks. I hope that the management of GC Café takes these points into consideration to enhance the overall coffee experience and create a more inviting atmosphere for their patrons. Read moreMy experiences at this cafe have been frequent, but unfortunately, I've noticed a decline in both service and atmosphere over time. The cafe opens around 7am but won't open airconditioning until 12pm leaving guests to contend with either fans or uncomfortable temperatures, particularly on the stifling second floor where there's little airflow. The manager and the cashier, named Trisha was very rude and dismissive when customers complains about the air-condition being off and when food service is super slow (there's even 3-4 guests only and they complain that "Nagsabay sabay po kasi order"). Mind you seats or couch area cannot be seated on if you are a small group and even if no other guests are in and even when you order a lot. They'll put 'Reserved' even after you ask them and confirm they'll lie because there' really no reservation for it.Overall, the declining service quality and uninviting atmosphere make it difficult to recommend this cafe for those seeking a comfortable and conducive environment for studying or relaxing. It may be worthwhile to explore alternative options for a more...
Read moreThe staff didn’t seem engaged and there was a lack of basic customer service throughout our visit. As well as one of the staff persistently mopping near our space as we are eating food. Seems a bit unhygienic.
The biggest concern was the food especially the lettuce, which was wilted and had dark spots. It clearly wasn’t fresh and raises questions about how ingredients are handled. Please take better care in ensuring the health and safety of your customers, especially when it comes to food quality and hygiene.
The pizza also didn’t look anything like what was shown on the menu.
Needs room for improvement when it comes to both food quality and service.
We’ve been a regular customer here last year and we gave it another try to see if things have changed as we really like the place. However, every time it’s just another bad experience all we get is a warm “thank you” after such an...
