I recently stayed at Summer Days for three nights, and I couldnât be happier with my experience. The property is located about 15 minutes away from Puerto Princesa Airport, making it very convenient to reach. Check-in was smooth and quick, which is always a plus after a long journey.
Location & Ambiance: Nestled on a quiet street, Summer Days offers a serene environment with only about 8 rooms, which adds to the intimate and cozy feel. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas at their cafĂ©, and the outdoor space is truly beautiful. Theyâve created a lush, green mini-forest on the property where you can often spot little birds. Waking up to the sound of chirping birds was a highlight for me.
Service & Hospitality: The staff at Summer Days is exceptional. They made me feel like royalty with their welcoming and attentive service. The customer service here is on another level â they really go above and beyond to make sure youâre comfortable. They even organized a transfer to El Nido for me for just â±700, and it was done effortlessly.
Food & Drink: The breakfast was always served hot and fresh, accompanied by complimentary rice cakes, which were delicious. I also often ordered their sandwiches, cheese sticks, hot potato chips, and lemonade. Everything was freshly made and served hot. A standout for me was that they had a halal chicken option for the sandwiches, which was a pleasant surprise! Their lemonade, mint mocha, and matcha frappe are highly recommended.
Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities you might need. A large glass door in my room allowed me to look out onto the beautiful plants outside, which made the stay even more peaceful. They also offer free room service, and you can pre-order your breakfast to be served in the café or in your room at your preferred time.
Convenience: Thereâs always a tricycle parked outside, which makes getting around very easy, and thereâs a small store right next door for snacks, drinks, or any essentials you may need.
Overall, my stay at Summer Days was fantastic. The warm hospitality, peaceful surroundings, and excellent food made it an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting...

I only stayed at Summer Days CafĂ© for one night, but it honestly felt like I had found a little home away from home. The staff were some of the kindest and most genuine people Iâve met on my travels â always smiling, always ready to help, and you can tell they actually care about their guests.
The rooms were surprisingly spacious and really well kept â clean, comfortable, and just the kind of space you want to come back to after a day out. The beach was literally a 5-minute walk away, so it was perfect to catch some fresh air and unwind.
Food was available well into the evening (a blessing when you donât want to wander too far), and breakfast was included in the price, which was a nice touch. I also loved the outdoor area that doubles as a little co-working space â the Wi-Fi worked great, so itâs an easy spot to get a bit of work done while sipping coffee.
What stood out for me was how easy and relaxed everything felt â from checking in to hanging out in the cafĂ©. Itâs not just a place to sleep; itâs the kind of spot that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment.
If youâre looking for a stay thatâs cozy, convenient, and full of heart, Summer Days CafĂ© is a place Iâd recommend in...
Read more(2023 July): Didn't get to try their rooms yet (apparently they have 8 guest rooms) as we went for the food. The place is called Summer Days Cafe, after all. We wanted to have brunch and luckily they were just about to open when we arrived (they're open daily 11am-9pm). Interiors were bright and cozy, with floor to ceiling windows providing lots of natural light. There were plants all over the place, both indoors and outdoors, which likewise contributed to the homey ambience. We each had the all-day breakfast (tocilog, tapsilog, and longsilog, respectively) and for drinks, the cold honeycomb latte, salted caramel...
