We have just returned to the UK having spent 6 glorious nights in Sabang. We visited Wegers La Casa for 4 nights dinner, each night was as outstanding as the last. Cerise went out of her way to add us on WhatsApp to let us know what local fresh fish were available for that evenings meal. Having enjoyed mussels the size of your hand, to lobster and red snapper we couldn’t have had a better meal.
A pure little space of foodie haven in the heart of Sabang, right on the harbour front. You can even watch the sunset and late afternoon fishermen bringing in their catch.
We were blown away with the warmth, hospitality and enthusiasm of all the staff who catered to our needs exceptionally well ensuring we had everything we needed and going out of their way to source us local delights. We were treated as long lost family members being greeted by name each day, truly outstanding.
You’ll not go wrong visiting, highly recommend!
Thank you each and everyone of you 🥰 much love from your UK...
Read moreNot an enjoyable experience! After ordering food, we were invaded by smoke in the inside part of the restaurant. I received a tiny piece of burned pork... when we told the waitress that the meat was quite burned, she just answered "but it's cooked" 😶 we didn't want anymore interaction with them, even if they asked if we wanted to send back the plate after seeing our decomposed faces and after we started eating through spite (you should have started with that instead of throwing your disregard to our faces). The chicken of my friend was burned on the outside and pink inside (is that cooked?). I don't know if it was bad luck but it didn’t go well in the kitchen that day. Just disappointed that they dared to present burn meats, especially for the price we paid, and that the service was so poor.
Edit: Visit of November 12th evening. Very sorry about your wife....
Read moreI cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. We ate here EVERY day of our stay in Sabang, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We never do this, but after our first meal we knew there was no point going anywhere else. The pork and tofu sisig aswell as the chicken adobos were our go to’s. There were the best we tried in the Philippines (and we had a lot in our 4 weeks here). The owners and servers were amazing and so kind, remembering our names after our first visit and greeting us every time we returned. They also sent us a detailed video on how to make the dishes we ordered as we enjoyed them so much we want to make them at home. I highly recommend you visit this amazing restaurant, we miss the...
