Oh this is a great hotel to stay at! Only warm memories with that place, such a great location! We were planning to come to Sabang from Puerto Princesa by bike to see the Underground river, but I've also read about the beauty of the beach so I booked the room to enjoy the whole day experience at that place. Highly recommend to come here by your own not with a tour group to not be dependent on their schedule. I'd say that Sabang is more like a village so if you're a fan of a lot of activities I wouldn't recommend to stay here more than 3 days since there is not much to do other than chilling at the beach.Well, first of all, the hotel is really close to the wharf (10 min walk by the beach) where you can get tickets to the Underground river (it's recommended to come to the ticket office around 7:40am before all the tour groups arrive so you could calmly get the boat without a hectic crowd).Secondly, what excited me most is that when you go out of your room you're literally at the beach😍 The sea in this area is a little bit wavy but still we swam a lot. There are spa places all over the beach and good cafes. There is a delicious restaurant at the hotel too, but the service takes way too long. The room was simple, clean and nice. We were aware that there is no water heater in the room, but it wasn't a problem for us since we stayed there for only 1 day and during hot weather. Thanks a lot to the staff of Hill Myna...
Read moreIt's a shame more people don't stay in Sabang. We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 kids and it was great.
We had one of the older rooms with 2 queen beds. Air con worked well, great wifi and Cell Signal. The beach was amazing. We loved their beach setup with swings and a few loungers to make it easy to lounge at the beach for the day. Rooms were basic but clean. They had a washing line out where we could dry our stuff because their wasn't anywhere in the room. The bathroom was a bit awkward with a wet rooms style and I wish there was a broom to sweep out the sand we couldn't avoid tracking in. But overall it was a beautiful locations, with a restaraunt and bar on site and a great shaded area with tables to enjoys food or games. You can easily walk to the boat terminal and a few other small restaraunts. We ate every day at a small unamed restaraunt just near the main corner into town (the young lady's name was Ray ray) and it was delicious and cheap (100-150 pesos)
Overall, for the price it's a awesome because you ate literally on the same beach as the 5 star Sheraton at a fraction of the price. So if your willing to accept basic bungalow style accomodatio. With the luxury of wifi and aircon, this...
Read moreVery basic room, two small tables, a chair, a pedestal fan, stand alone mirror and curtains that only just cover the windows Two bamboo units with shelving and hanging capacity would enhance the comfort level. Wet room with a flexy shower rose and complimentary cracked toilet seat. Lighting adequate when electric is available. The fan blows a gale even on the lowest setting. The lady Manager is friendly and helpful. After checking in I had to ask for na bath towel which she attended to immediately. The restaurant had many items on its menu which were unavailable.and I thought it was high season. They have a large sign out the front with pictures advertising their pizzas but not available when I tried to order one.||This is a beach facing property and enjoys good sea breezes. Only a 10 minute walk from the Sabang shops and pier where you register for the Underground River Tour.||Even though it's basic, for the price and location I have...
